First, I want to acknowledge my mom, Nichole, my dad, Courtney, and my sister, Kassidy, for being the best support system I could have ever asked for. High school has been a challenging experience, and I don't know what I would have done without the three of you. I love you all endlessly and can never thank you enough for everything you have done for me. I want to thank my grandmothers for making this level of education possible and always giving me boundless opportunities. None of this would be happening without you, so thank you. I have been very fortunate to make friends from all over the world, and I can't thank all of them enough for the kindness and friendship they've shown me. I have had the privilege of learning from so many talented and amazing teachers that it's impossible to name them all, but I want to shout out Lei Alor and Siobhan Boyle. You both have done so much for me and have really helped me to see the light at the end of the tunnel academically. I truly wouldn't be the person I am today without everyone I mentioned above and everyone else that I'm fortunate enough to have in my life. Thank you for all the guidance, advice, and support each and every one of you has provided me with, and I can't wait to take all of it with me into the next chapter of my life.
This too shall pass. — Ancient Proverb
BLAISE BARRY
I would like to thank my parents for their assistance in my education and life path, without whom I would have no way to navigate the web of life. I would also like to thank my friends Elliot, Toby, and Lily, who have stuck by my side and continue to support me. Of course, I would like to thank my guides, especially Lei Alor and Dr. Tia Butler, for educating me as professionals and being there for me as friends. And finally, I would like to thank dogs for their existence and cuteness. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Headwaters.
But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.

TOBY BUNN
I am so incredibly grateful to everyone in my life who has made my experience here at Headwaters possible. I would like to thank my parents for raising me to be the person I am today and for supporting me in my struggles, difficult decisions, risks, and all other endeavors. You both are responsible for the faith I have in myself and in the world around me. I also want to thank my sister, Annarose, for always being so honest with me and for advocating for me when I couldn’t find my voice. Thank you to my classmates for making my experience at Headwaters full of joy and companionship. I’m especially grateful for my best friend, Lily. I am so glad I had someone so close to me and so like-minded throughout high school, and I’m eager to stay in touch after we part ways for college. Thank you to all my guides for providing me with such an excellent education and for always making sure that I felt seen and heard. I specifically want to thank Dr. Tia Butler and Lei Alor for writing my letters of recommendation and making the field study in Cambodia and Vietnam possible. I would also like to thank Lisa Dubuque Wood for aiding me in my college application process. I was very scared to go through that step in my education, and you showed me it was possible and that I was more than capable of doing it.
NOAH DOAN
Words can't express how thankful I am to everyone who has allowed me the opportunity to be here today and to experience all that I have. Thanks to y'all, I've been able to pursue my dreams and live my dream life. To my loving parents, you are my best friends. I'm so lucky to have such loving figures in my life that I can always count on. To my amazing grandparents, I can't thank you enough for allowing me the opportunity to attend Headwaters. I have been able to learn, grow, and meet so many amazing people thanks to your help, and without you, I wouldn't be the person I am today. To my guides, thank you all for putting up with me for the past four years. All of you are such amazing people, and I'm so grateful to have been able to learn from you. Thanks to you guys, I've grown to love learning much more than I ever thought I could. Thank you to my other family members for always being there for me. You always make me feel so welcomed! And to my friends, thank you for helping me create memories that I will never forget. I've enjoyed getting to know you, and I can't wait to create more memories in the future! Although I've seen highs and lows, all of you have always been there to support me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I've learned so much, and I can't wait for what's next. I hope to keep pursuing my dreams and growing through the hardships that may come along the way!

ZACHARY FREDERICK
I would like to start by thanking my mother. She is the sole reason I had the opportunity to attend Headwaters, and I will be forever grateful. Further, I would like to extend gratitude to my family as a whole for always being there for me, even when I didn't ask. I would also like to thank all of my IB guides for helping me as well as pushing me toward success in all of my courses. I have had some pretty hit-or-miss teachers over the years, but I am happy to say that my experiences at Headwaters were among the best. I would like to personally thank Lisa Dubuque Wood for the extensive help she gave me in the college process. Music-related aspirations are on the rarer side, but we worked together to get a great understanding of what I needed to do and what my next steps were, and I'm not sure I could have done that without her. Lastly, I want to thank the greater Headwaters community for being so accepting and accommodating at all times. It was an amazing experience to study here, and I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity.

I have spent a lot of time at Headwaters (going on seven years), and during this time, there have been many important people who have supported my learning. First and foremost, my parents, who have been willing to keep me at Headwaters, sticking with me through virtual school, the transition to high school, and the challenge that has been the past two years in IB. Their support is immense, and I would not have been able to finish school without them. The most significant people in one's education are their teachers; they shape the school experience and how one learns. At Headwaters, I had the pleasure of learning from the most supportive and capable individuals. Lei Alor, Dr. Tia Butler, Jen Masterson, Kelly Dickens, and Alex Ross have all contributed significantly to my experience. Lei and Tia, along with my advisor, Grady Eglin, and college counselor, Lisa Dubuque Wood, are stalwart advocates for the senior class. Their continued support for me and my peers is unmatched. These four individuals have gone above and beyond, making my final two years of high school unforgettable, even through the IB Programme's intense workload. Ultimately, Headwaters is unique in that such people work here, and I doubt I will ever find any assortment of individuals like this anywhere else.
Bonds of people is the true power.

PHILIPP HUNERMUND
First, I would like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to attend Headwaters and for supporting me with my work over the past four years. I am so grateful for their support, and I could not have gotten through high school without it. I would also like to give a massive thank you to every single teacher I have had over the past four years: Amber Anderson, Jen Masterson, Hilda Reilly, Alex Ross, Dr. David Heroy, Paul Lambert, Eric Stinson, Ari Stoler, Ali McMillan, Lei Alor, Dr. Lesley Regan, Aran Tumu, Kelly Dickens, Lidia Galarza, Dr. Tia Butler, Grady Eglin, and David Xu. Headwaters teachers give countless hours of their time and attention, and no words I could say could give enough thanks to them. Another group of people who I feel don’t get enough credit are our advisors. I would like to give a massive thanks to my two advisors, Earnie Solomon and David Xu, who have bettered my Headwaters experience so much. Finally, I would like to extend a massive special thank you to Lisa Dubuque Wood, who has been crucial to my college process.
NOAH LUNA
I want to start by acknowledging my parents, Christa and Steven, who have always supported me in whatever path I chose. You have always been there for me and helped me during the hard times. You have truly helped me push through to the finish line. I want to thank my wonderful sister, Ella, for always being there for me and being a supportive listener when needed. I can always count on you for honest advice. You were there for me with open arms when I thought I couldn't do it anymore, and I love you. I also want to thank all my friends and family for being a light in my life. This wouldn't be possible without our trips to Barton, our weekly climbing sessions, playing music in the garage, and our occasional family get-togethers. You have been an outlet I can turn to when things get rough. Next, I want to thank all my teachers who never gave up on me. These last two years haven't exactly been easy. Not that long ago, I didn't care much academically. You have taught me how to learn and how to stay curious, which is a skill I will hold onto forever. Now I feel collegeready, and I will always put more into my academics because I know I can do better thanks to you. You have made my high school experience enjoyable and meaningful. I love you all.
It's been an adventure. We took some casualties over the years. Things got broken. Things got lost. But I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

CULLEN MCNEAL
My final two years of high school, while indubitably the most challenging, were made the greatest stretch of my life by those around me. To my parents, first and foremost, I would like to extend gratitude for your endless patience, support, and love. Mom, our nonsensical talks commuting home and the time we've shared at the gym have been some of the most meaningful intermissions between grueling work sessions. Dad, nothing means more to me than our weekend lunches around the city. All that you two have done to support me means more than you can imagine, and I cannot begin to conceptualize where I would be without it. Secondly, I would like to thank the guides and educators who have given me the opportunity to grow into who I am today. Lei Alor and Dr. Tia Butler's courses in the humanities have created in me an intense fascination with subjects I historically disfavored. My interest in linguistics has been allowed to blossom with the help of these teachers as well as Dr. Avé Luke-Simpson, who has proven an indispensable mentor. Finally, I would like to deeply acknowledge my closest friends for making the last two years bearable. Nico and Maxi, I'm frankly unsure how I would have made it through senior year without our time in classes, outside of school, and even traveling internationally. And finally, June, the most important person in my life, thank you for being you.

I'll start with expressing my gratitude for everyone who has made my life as full and joyful as it is and who has helped me grow into the person I am today: my friends, my teachers, my boyfriend, and most of all, my family. To my wonderful parents, thank you for being there for me in every moment of my life, for giving me the space to grow, and for loving and accepting every part of me. I will always be grateful for having such supportive people on my side. To my siblings, thank you for always being sure to make me laugh or keep me entertained. I promise to be there for you as long as I can. To my amazing friends, Gaby, Cullen, Ariane, and Iris, I truly don't know who I would be without you. I wouldn't have made it without you, and I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such thoughtful and kind people. Perry, being with you has helped me grow in ways I didn't even realize I needed. Thank you for the kind of laughter that leaves me gasping for air, and for all the dates where we end up somewhere completely unexpected but so fun. I love you so much. To my teachers, Stephen Beatty, thank you for showing me the beauty of film. Lei Alor, thank you for understanding me and my cultural differences; it means the world to me. Thank you, everyone, for making me feel so loved. I will carry you all with me.

ORION MOORE
Thank you so much to everyone who got me through these four years at Headwaters. All of my teachers here have been utterly delightful and supportive, but I want to specifically thank David Xu, Kelly Dickens, and Grady Eglin for helping me get through my HL studies. There were points in each of your classes where I was truly befuddled, and each and every time I received incredible support to make it through. Alongside these teachers, Lisa Dubuque Wood has always been exceptional in her service to the senior classes of Headwaters, and mine was no exception. She has always made time and space for seniors to come by, talk, do puzzles, and just be generally comfortable in the nicest chairs on campus. Outside of academics, I have always been supported by my mother and my best friend in everyday life. These last few years have been incredibly difficult at times and incredibly rewarding at others. I couldn't have done any of it without you all. Thank you.
LUCA MUÑOZ
I want to thank everyone who has supported me in the pursuit of my high school education. All of the encouragement I have received over the last four years has been extremely impactful, providing the fuel for my dedication to my own learning. First, I would like to thank my immediate family: my wonderful mothers, who have been my biggest backers and guides throughout my entire life, and my amazing younger brother, who has been the reason I strive to be better every day. Next, I want to thank my extended family—all of my grandparents, who have provided so much support to me and my parents when we needed it, and my aunts and uncles, who have served as good role models for how a wide variety of people move through life in meaningful ways. I also want to thank all of my older cousins, who have been a great glimpse into the future, and my younger cousins, for balancing them out. Next, I want to thank my peers, the people who have shared in my school experience, some of whom are graduating with me today. Many of you have had a lasting impact on me—some more than you know. My genuine thanks to you, and I wish you luck in your endeavors. Finally, I want to thank the people who have made my education possible, my amazing guides. Each of you, whether you just taught me in freshman year or have been teaching me for the last three years, has left a mark on me, and I am sincerely grateful.

I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for their support in attending Headwaters. I believe that it has been a good fit for me. I would also like to thank the rest of my family for supporting me. The Headwaters community is what has always made the school so great to me. Every teacher I've ever had and any friends I've made are large parts of that. I don’t want to name names, but it feels more meaningful to do so, so I’m going to thank every teacher I’ve had this year, in no particular order: Jen Masterson, Dr. Tia Butler, Grady Eglin, Kelly Dickens, Lei Alor, Hilda Reilly, Stephen Beatty, and John Mulvany. Every teacher I’ve had for senior year has been great. I want to acknowledge Lei and Grady in particular. Lei’s classes have always been exceptionally engaging, and Grady is exceptionally fun to talk to and offers great guidance, both as a physics teacher and as a soccer coach. To anyone who reads this, thank you.

Acknowledging those to whom I owe the deepest gratitude, I'd like to recognize my family members as well as specific teachers with whom I connected in a more personal way. First, I want to thank my mom, Alina Berkowitz, and my dad, John Berkowitz, who made my attendance at Headwaters possible by providing the resources I needed to attend, get to school, and make it through each day—especially lunch, but truly every sacrifice they made is so appreciated. I also want to thank my grandparents, Gram (Tina), Pop (Neils), and Nana (Jody), who have been an amazing family and supportive, giving helpful guidance to me as well as my brother Jackson and my other brothers, Sebastian and Christian. Their care for three other rowdy kids and teenagers, and their presence, have created a positive environment for all of us. Additionally, I want to thank my aunts and uncles, Mike, Mark, Mai, and Alma, who have contributed amazing life experiences that helped me through high school. Continuing, I want to thank Daniel Ramirez for his support and extreme involvement in Car Club, as well as his engagement in our school's community. Secondly, I thank Lei Alor for his guidance in IAs and the excitement he brought to my high school history classes. Thirdly, I thank Grady Eglin for maintaining a thoughtful advisory and for leading, as well as shaping, a hardworking, highly participatory soccer team.

ELLIOT SCHNEIDER
As my time at Headwaters—a 14-year journey—comes to an end, the predominant feeling in my heart is gratitude. I am grateful to my parents for loving, supporting, and embracing my sister and me unconditionally. It is because of you that I have grown into the person I am today. To my sister, Lily, I have loved sharing my childhood with you, reaching adulthood with you, and I am grateful I will be able to continue on to whatever comes next with you. To my grandparents, who I am eternally grateful to have in my life. To my drag family, who have provided me with community, friendship, and a place for self-expression that has allowed me to flourish. To my best friend, Zilker Villafranca, who showed me that soulmates do exist. To Lisa Dubuque Wood, for her never-ending support in the college planning process that led to my acceptance to my dream college. And last but not least, to all the teachers who have given me the best education I could hope for and set me up for success in my next steps in life. Of my teachers, I am especially grateful to Lei Alor. Beyond reigniting my passion for history, you have been a mentor, role model, and support system for me at this school. The things you have taught me, not only about history but about myself and my place in the world, have impacted me greatly and will stay with me forever. I will miss you so much.
LILY SCHNEIDER
I cannot be more thankful for everyone who made my journey through Headwaters as good as it has been. Thanks to my Mom and Dad for making this possible and supporting me throughout my high school career, and to Elliot for being my sibling, my best friend, and for supporting me in my transition. I couldn't have done this without you. I’m thankful to Lei Alor for his expertise, which has been incredible to learn from, and for being my spider buddy. I'm thankful to Dr. Tia Butler, Paul Lambert, and all my teachers who supported me and allowed me to succeed throughout the years. I am incredibly grateful for the effort and passion you put into your classes. In particular, I would like to thank Dr. David Heroy for both inspiring me to pursue a career in science and leading Outdoor Leadership, which has been the best experience of my life. Your passion for science and encouragement mean the world to me. I would also like to thank my ODL group for all the memories we've made over the past two years. Each of you has had such an impact on my life, and I hope you all go on to live your best lives. Thank you, Lisa Dubuque Wood, for being one of my favorite people and for helping me figure out my journey beyond Headwaters. Thank you, Toby, for being my closest friend throughout high school and for getting me through the toughest days. I will never forget the time we spent together, and I’m excited for the adventures yet to come!

I’d like to acknowledge my family for supporting me throughout my entire life. Specifically, I’d like to thank my mother and father both for giving me a stable home for me to grow in and caring for me. You have both provided me with such great opportunities throughout my life, and I am extremely grateful. I love y'all! Next, I’d like to acknowledge Dr. Tia Butler and Lei Alor for being great mentors to me. You two have played an extremely large role in my development and growth as a student. My abilities would be nothing close to what they are without you two. Thank you for always being people who would entertain my ceaseless antics and discussions. Your classes have been the highlight of my time at Headwaters, and I will miss you in college. Finally, I’d like to thank all of the friends I’ve made at this school. It has been a long seven-year journey through middle and high school (even longer with some), but I’m really glad to have grown up with all of you. It truly was wonderful.

I never believed I could make it to graduation, but here I am! It’s all thanks to the amazing people I have in my corner. My mom, who is always there to pick me up when I’m down and working endlessly to give me everything I need to succeed. My dad, who made going to Headwaters possible with his financial support. My brothers, Logan, Ryder, and Greyson, who make me feel looked out for, even when we don’t see each other much. I would also like to thank Dr. Tia Butler, Mr. Lei Alor, and Ms. Jen Masterson for the incredible amount of dedication and time they have put into helping me get on track this year. I will never take for granted what they have done for me. I would not be the person I am today without my family and teachers having my back and letting me pursue my dreams. I can’t possibly put into words how thankful I am for all the effort they have put into making this happen.

ARAN TUMU
First, I want to express my sincere gratitude to my parents for their unwavering support and for making my education at Headwaters possible. Their encouragement has supported my academic and personal journey, from the new and seemingly foreboding environment of 9th grade to IB Year II, in the process shaping my character into who I am today. I would also like to acknowledge Kelly Dickens, who often pushed me to go beyond the syllabus and inspired me to connect mathematics topics to real-life systems, driving and nurturing my interest in astrophysics and mathematics. I would also like to acknowledge Grady Eglin and Earnie Solomon for reinvigorating my interest in soccer and inspiring my exploration into basketball and baseball. I would additionally like to thank Ali McMillan, who has pushed me to manifest my creativity in the real world to the greatest extent possible. Thank you also to the rest of my exceptional guides, who have so generously shared their knowledge while patiently steering me through the IB years. Headwaters has given me not only a valuable education but also a place to nurture these ideas and explorations alongside an equally valuable and memorable community. Lastly, I personally find Headwaters to be an apt name: cultivating my curiosity, encouraging me to go above and beyond, and ultimately embodying its role as a messenger to even greater endeavors.
FLORA TVERSKY
I want to start by thanking my mom and dad for the endless amount of love and support they provide. They have opened the door to countless opportunities and have inspired me to continue challenging myself both academically and in all aspects of my life. I will never be able to thank them enough. I also want to thank my siblings, Adele, Hazel, and Leo. You are my best friends, my biggest cheerleaders, and occasionally my haters, but I love you all infinitely. I would not be here today without the support of my teachers and academic advisors. So many of you have impacted my life in countless ways—from inspiring me to create art, to exploring nature in Outdoor Leadership, and teaching me that empathy is central to every subject. My time at Headwaters has taught me so much, and my incredible educators are to thank for that. I also want to acknowledge my friends. Each and every one of you has given me so much love and memories I’ll cherish forever. Thank you all for being a part of my life and sharing your lives with me. To everyone who is a part of my life—friends, family, teachers, and other random relations—thank you. I am grateful to be able to celebrate this milestone with you.
