MEMORIES WORKSHOPS

We aspire to improve the lives of those suffering with Memory Loss or Dementia and their Carers, by enabling choice, control and opportunity in a safe and comfortable environment.

Our Memories Workshops not only enable those living with memory loss or dementia to spend time with others in a safe, nurturing environment, but they also provide vital respite for carers and families

Our Memories Workshops are held on Wednesday’s and Friday’s every week, 10:00am-3:00pm, with refreshments and a 2 course lunch provided.

Activities throughout the day are varied and are very much based on individual preference and can include but are not limited to: arts and crafts, cooking, spending time in our healing garden, accessing ‘Happiness Programme’ activities on our interactive 360 table, reminiscent activities, pottery, woodwork, singing, puzzles and Flexercise.

From time to time we have visitors providing a range of entertainment and we also host theme days and arrange trips out.

Heads Up are members of Wells Dementia Action Alliance who strive to deliver the objectives of the National Dementia Declaration at a local level and support the objectives of the City of Wells, as a Dementia Friendly Community.
