News Café in South Africa operates as a non-traditional cafe that regularly hosts DJs and live events. The venue required a sound system capable of supporting both daily background music and highperformance audio within a single installation.
Exclusive distributor Apex pro supplied integrators Pro Sound, with the necessary equipment to address this dual requirement. The TNi-W8BK loudspeakers were installed for comfortable, daily background music. When the venue hosts live performances and DJ sets, the system is supplemented by TRS-1800 active subwoofers and TRE-1501 fullrange loudspeakers to provide the required high output for the events.

Supplied by InterTech SRL and installed by the former with AV Network SRL, the system was built so staff can easily switch between lounge, DJ, and morning presets with the flick of a switch – no expertise needed. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a small bar, covered by four TNiW6-BK wall-mounted loudspeakers, powered by a single MZ-140Q. The same zone amplifier powers eight TNi-W8-BK loudspeakers positioned around the main bar.
The central space, a restaurant by day and dancefloor by night, uses an SP48 signal processor to manage custom scene presets, created via the SP Series desktop app. Eight TNi-W8PRO-BK highperformance loudspeakers powered by two M-750D amplifiers deliver the main sound, supported by two
TRS-1500 subs for extended low-end. A single MZ-280Q handles both the garden and beach zones. When the party moves to the beach at night, an M-750D powers two TNi-W15PROBK loudspeakers, delivering the power needed for the late-night DJ sets.
Oscar Cipolla of InterTech SRL said,
“We’ve had an excellent experience with both the electronics and the loudspeakers. The M-Series power amps and MZ zone controllers are extremely flexible and reliable tools. The TNi-WPRO series is straightforward to install and delivers excellent performance at both low and high levels.” He added, “The TNi-W6 and W8 models are great all-rounders, offering a consistent, impressive tone and real value for money.”

Installed by systems integrator, Varun Dua of Bassline AV Technologies. Dua states, “HH is a very flexible, multi-use brand which fits well for a venue like this, which plays background music during the day as well as DJ music and karaoke in the evenings”.
Generation AV supplied the install with four TNi-W8PRO-WH loudspeakers, supported by TNi-W6-WH 6-inch loudspeakers used as delays fills. For low end support, the Tessen Array TNA1800S subwoofer was used.

The first iteration of White opened its doors in Sunninghill, Sandton, where it rapidly gained popularity. Earlier this year, the owners decided to recreate the winning formula in Melville, bringing their unique interpretation of a luxury lounge to one of Johannesburg’s trendiest suburbs.
As a brand, White is built on combining luxury dining with lively entertainment. To achieve this vision, the venue owners reached out to Pieter de Vrye from De Vrye Automation and tasked him with developing an audio system tailored to the venue's specific needs.
De Vrye emphasises that the primary aim in creating an audio system for the White premium lounge is to produce high-quality, evenly distributed ambient music.
He notes, "The system should enhance the atmosphere while still allowing for comfortable conversation." Additionally, he points out the need for versatility, as the venue becomes more vibrant in the evenings, especially with live DJ sets following dinner service on weekends.
To achieve the perfect balance of quality,
power, and durability, De Vrye specified 8 TNi-W8PRO wall mount loudspeakers to serve as the heart of the system.
“We wanted to ensure that we achieved even coverage throughout the interior of the lounge, including across the bar area, the dining booths on the outer edges and the more open atrium at the front of the restaurant,” De Vrye explains.
“One might argue that eight loudspeakers are a lot for a venue of its size,” De Vrye points out. “However, we wanted to achieve a very clean, even coverage, and therefore decided to go with more loudspeakers distributed strategically across the venue. As a result, the system can be played at very low levels, while still being heard everywhere, with no hot or dead spots.”
To support the TNi-W8PRO's, De Vrye included 5 TRS-1500 Tensor Series powered subwoofers.
“Once we achieved the distribution and clarity we were after at low levels, we knew the system had the room to achieve the high-energy vibe we wanted after dinner”.

Della Fame is a stylish and spacious venue which offers indoor and alfresco dining courtesy of its street-facing aspect, and delivers a high standard of Italian-inspired Mediterranean cuisine from its open kitchen.
The Della Fame team engaged leading Istanbulbased professional audio integrator, Pulsarpro, to supply and install a discreet, high quality system that would meet the needs of the venue’s different spaces.
Project coordinator Hakan Tamer deployed 10 x HH 3 x HH TNi-C8 ceiling speakers were mounted in the lobby and restroom entrance area, while the garden area benefitted from 16 x TNi-W6 compact
wall-mounted speakers. Hakan Tamer comments:
“The HH loudspeakers proved to be first-class products in terms of quality, power and consistency of coverage, as well as respecting the visual aesthetic of the venue’s unique decoration.”
Della Fame Business Manager, Murat Coşkun is pleased with the system:
“Our mission is to offer a relaxing experience, day and night, for guests who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Good music plays a big part in creating the right atmosphere at Della Fame. Our new sound system, with its carefully placed HH speakers, delivers excellent sound quality.
Onehunga High School, a state co-educational secondary school serving as one of the oldest suburbs in Auckland, New Zealand, has undergone a significant redevelopment at a cost of $30 million, which saw the creation of several technologically advanced facilities.
Two teaching facilities were constructed, one of which houses a two-basketballcourt gymnasium with exercise room, locker rooms and teaching spaces, the other, a technical block catering to the sciences, woodwork, metalwork, art, food technology and nutrition. Two commercial-grade kitchens and an atrium space completed this building. An essential element of the new facilities was provision for a
flexible, high-quality audio system which could deliver clear powerful sound and excellent coverage.
Local provider ITL Technologies of Auckland was awarded the AV contract and chose loudspeakers from HH Audio. For teaching areas with suspended ceilings ITL installed HH TNi-C4 ceiling speakers. In areas where suspended ceilings were not present, audio continuity was maintained with the HH TNi-W4.
A total of 97 HH loudspeakers were installed at the school. The gym block saw 19 units installed across 10 spaces, whilst in the technical block, 63 units were deployed across 20 teaching spaces. A further 15 units covered six spaces in ancillary areas.
