MAKING COMMUNITY REHABILITATION COUNT

Over 50 charities and professional health bodies, led by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, have called for a revamp of how patient data is collected across England. The aim of this is to improve all aspects of rehabilitation services, enabling people to better manage their medical conditions and to ensure they lead more independent lives. The Community Rehabilitation Alliance (CRA), which SIA is a member of, believes that centralising patient data collection is key to tackling health inequalities and will revolutionise under-resourced, over-subscribed, acute, specialised and community rehabilitation services.
