Garbage Services

The City of Tracy has six garbage rates: Curbside Collection: 35 Gallon Container 65 Gallon Container 95 Gallon Container Alley Collection: 35 Gallon Container 65 Gallon Container 95 Gallon Container Fees for the garbage service are included with the City water and sewer bill. Garbage is mandatory for residential pickup. Each resident will be issued a container in the size of their choice from above. Garbage service is slated for early Wednesday morning pick-up. You will want to set out your container the evening prior. Stickers are available for extra bags of garbage at the cost of $2.74 each. The can be purchased at the City Offi ce and are also available at a few local businesses. Recyclables are picked up every other week as scheduled by West Central Sanitation. For questions or concerns about recycle service contact Lyon County Environmental Offi ce at (507)-532-8210 Lyon County Environmental Department has also placed a rolloff dumpster in the Food Pride parking lot where recyclables can be brought to.
