BizConnect @PLATT Networking is an important part of the business community in Hillsborough County, with a wide variety of venues and schedules available to suit every taste.

However, did you know that you can network at the library?

The first Friday of every month the Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library hosts a before hours networking event from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. Connect with people and resources, and learn how the library can help you develop your business.

Each month there is a different featured speaker to share insight , information or resources with participants. Past speakers have included Mike Harting, owner of 3 Daughters Brewing, Lynn Kroesen, manager of the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center, and Pat Bhava, creator of the PikMyKid APP.

BizConnect@Platt is free and open to the public.

There are no membership fees and no registration, so it draws a cross-section of the business community.

When you attend, be sure to bring your business cards and your appetite. Coffee and refreshments are provided courtesy of the Friends of the Jan Platt Library.
