New Bills Aim to Remove 6.42% Behavioral Adjustment Cut from PDGM Be on the lookout for HCA grassroots advocacy tools to press your support HCA, colleague state and national associations, and other stakeholders are urging support for a set of Congressional bills that seek to remove home health “behavioral adjustment” payment cuts – of about $1 billion nationally – that are assumed as part of the Patient Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) set to go into effect for Medicare home health in 2020. This legislation takes on new urgency as the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is expected to finalize PDGM later this week as part of its Home Health See PDGM p. 3
