On Tuesday, January 15, Governor Cuomo delivered his combined Executive Budget proposal for state fiscal year 2019-20 and his annual State of the State Address. Throughout the presentation, the Governor outlined his upcoming policy and fiscal agendas, triggering the process of state budget negotiations. Slate of HCA Bills Helps Position Home and Community Based Care for Support in New Session A series of HCA bills has been introduced/reintroduced in the State Legislature, laying groundwork for home care, hospice and MLTC support in the formulation of the state budget and in the new legislative session. The bills are introduced by the Assembly and Senate Health Chairs, the immediate-past Senate Aging and Finance Chairs, and the Assembly Insurance Chair. See BILLS p. 4
