HCA President Cunningham Announces Departure for National Home Care Post, Inspired by HCA Members, Proud of the HCA Team, and Confident of Continued Association Strength In a special July 26 announcement to HCA members, HCA President Joanne Cunningham and the HCA Board of Directors announced that Ms. Cunningham will be departing as President of HCA at the end of August to assume a new position as Executive Director of the Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare. The Partnership is a national organization based in Washington, DC that works collaboratively with Congressional and federal representatives to ensure access to quality home health care services for all Americans. It represents nearly 3,000 home health agencies nationwide on reforms to improve the integrity, quality and efficiency of home health care for the nation’s Medicare population. “My past 11 years at HCA have been enormously fulfilling, in great part because of HCA’s members, who have inspired me with their passionate, exceptional dedication to home care and hospice patients and services,” Ms. Cunningham said. “A new opportunity, See CUNNINGHAM p. 2 The Situation Report is on a biweekly summer schedule.
