DOH Extends Time for Minimum Wage Contract Amendments as Questions Raised on Distribution HCA was expected to meet today with the state Department of Health (DOH) and other stakeholders to discuss funding and other issues related to the minimum wage increase in New York City that is effective on December 31, 2016. However, that meeting has since been cancelled and we are awaiting a new date. In preparation for the meeting, HCA continued our outreach to home care members to learn what they are being told by their MLTC plan contractors about the status of their rates for 2017. Political Landscape Uncertain for Health Care, Home Care after Shock-Wave Election Last week’s big political news, of course, was the election of Donald J.
