HCA Joins Powerhouse Coalition Opposing Federal Health Care Bill HCA has joined a formidable group of nearly 30 organizations in a joint letter to Congress urging members of New York State’s Congressional Delegation to reject the American Health Care Act (AHCA), which is Congress’ plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA). CMS Approves SPA to Eliminate 2% Across-the-Board Reduction The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved the state Department of Health’s (DOH) state plan amendment (SPA) to eliminate the two percent across-the-board (ATB) reduction that applied to home care and other health services.
