What We are Asking For and Why on Advocacy Day Tomorrow HCA issues two important reports HCA has two important documents for tomorrow’s state Advocacy Day program in Albany. All members are urged to read them (linked later in this article). They will familiarize you with our state budget requests and the results of our financial and program analysis, which is comprised in large part of survey answers from 90 HCA member organizations, like yours. Broadly, we are asking the Legislature for two things: 1) approve and build upon those Executive budget items that support MLTC and home care; and 2) reject funding cuts and program actions that are adverse to providers and plans. See ADVOCACY p. 3
