Cuomo Budget Scant on Health Funding; Proposes $15 Wage, Advanced Aides, More Managed Care Transition HCA members should plan to be in Albany February 1-2 for HCA Advocacy – and participate in January 26 HCA conference call to discuss proposals and advocacy strategy On Wednesday, Governor Cuomo delivered his combined State-of-the-State and budget address announcing priorities for the state budget – which is due April 1 – while officially beginning the state legislative season and budget negotiations with the Legislature. HCA Extends Financial Survey Deadline to January 21 – Complete the Survey as Soon as Possible Your responses will inform a major report for our advocacy With HCA’s state advocacy program fast approaching on February 1-2 – on the heels of the Governor’s State Budget release this past week – HCA still needs responses from you to support one of our central advocacy documents: HCA’s 2015-16 home care financial condition report.
