With New Legislative Session, State Advocacy Ramps Up for 2016 Help support our advocacy efforts by completing HCA’s online home care survey and joining us for our Feb. 2 State Advocacy Day – mark your calendars The state legislative session began this week with the usual flurry of activity at the state capitol, including announcements about legislative committee assignments and policy initiatives being eyed by legislators and the Governor for the coming year. Home care will be a focus of the discussion during HCA’s State Advocacy Day on February 2 where we are inviting our Board of Directors and other home care leadership staff to Albany for legislative visits to communicate our advocacy platform. See ADVOCACY p. 3
