am excited you are joining us for the 2019 Parade of Homes presented by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Central Connecticut. You may be interested in the latest trends in home building and design, looking for the perfect new home to move right into, looking to be inspired by a renovation or you may be searching for your dream builder – the one you connect with and who can bring your vision to life. As you visit the homes on our annual tour, I encourage you to consider the story behind each one of these homes. These Connecticut made products are designed and built with passion and craftsmanship. • Contact the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Central Connecticut for the names of member builders and remodelers. Search our members at hbracentralct.com. You can also ask family, friends or coworkers for recommendations.

• Make sure the builder or home remodeler has a permanent business location and a good reputation with local banks and suppliers.

• Find out how long they have been in the building business. It usually takes three to five years to establish a financially sound business. You want to make sure they will be around after the construction is complete to service any warranties.
