BOARD OF DIRECTORS VOTING There are eight director candidates for five open positions. You may vote for up to five director candidates.

There are two Secretary/Treasurer candidates. You may vote for one secretary/ treasurer candidate. The Association would like to thank the screening committee for their participation in the election process.

In addition to background information, each candidate was asked to describe why (s)he is interested in serving on the Association's Board and what (s)he has to offer the Association.

IN PERSON

Cast your vote during the Trade Fair from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

ONLINE

Online voting will be available from October 1 until October 7 at 5:00 p.m.

ABSENTEE

Can’t attend the Trade Fair but want a paper ballot? Visit the GHAR office on October 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 during regular business hours.

GHAR BYLAWS: Per GHAR Bylaws, no more than two (2) REALTORS® from the same real estate firm may serve on the Board of Directors at any one time. If election results would otherwise cause this number to be exceeded, the candidates to be installed as Directors from that firm would be determined by the number of votes received by each candidate. In the event a Director transfers from one real estate firm to another so that this limitation is exceeded, the transferring Director shall be removed from the Board of Directors and the resulting vacancy filled pursuant to these Bylaws.

Policy Statement The GHAR Board of Directors adopted this policy statement to facilitate the election process.

The Election Committee will first determine the election of the Officers before determining the election of the Directors.

If the election of the Officers results in the situation where two REALTORS® from the same real estate firm would be serving on the Board of Directors and the subsequent Directors election results would cause this number to be exceeded, the elected REALTOR® to serve on the Board of Directors would be administratively disqualified to serve in accordance with Article XI, Section 3 of the Bylaws.

REASON TO SERVE For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Director on our Board, and during that time, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of strong leadership in shaping the future of our association and supporting our members. I’m running for an officer position because I believe now is the time to take an even more active role in ensuring our board remains innovative, collaborative, and focused on the success of every member. Serving as a Director has given me valuable experience with governance, strategic planning, and addressing the challenges our industry faces. REASON TO SERVE I’m running for Secretary/Treasurer because I believe in the power of transparency, accountability, and sound financial stewardship to help our Association thrive. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how crucial it is for our leadership to be organized, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to serving our members’ best interests. My background in both real estate and finance gives me a unique perspective and the skills necessary to ensure our records are accurate, our finances are managed responsibly, and our decisions are always made with the greater good in mind.

I want to help build on the strong foundation our Association has established by maintaining clear, open communication and ensuring every dollar is used to support our mission and our members. I’m passionate about making sure our operations run smoothly and efficiently, and I’m excited to bring fresh ideas and a clientfocused mindset to this role. REASON TO SERVE My grandfather, Gene Costello, for the past few years, had wanted our company to get more involved and give back through GHAR. As most know, he recently passed away in April. When a member of GHAR leadership called to ask me to apply for the board of directors, this was a great opportunity to honor his legacy, give back, and help our local association move forward and grow.

We’re having a Bylaw Vote!

Here’s what that means.

Proposed Bylaw Amendment: In December 2023, the GHAR Board of Directors approved language that would be added to Article XI – Section 6 of the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws, specifically referencing violations of the GHAR Leadership Code of Conduct as a vehicle for removal from the Board of Directors.

In August 2025, the current Board of Directors reaffirmed its commitment to the passage of this Bylaw Amendment.

What Comes Next?

1. Review the full Bylaw Amendment details by scanning the QR Code.

2. Attend the Annual Meeting to vote on the proposed change.

3. If you can’t attend, submit your proxy vote through the online voting platform.

If voting online, you will be prompted to indicate whether you intend to vote in person or wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf should you be unable to attend.
