It was a little chilly and there may have been a few snowflakes blowing around up on top of the hill at times, but the annual Sporting Clay Shoot was a success. This year we had 147 attendees, hundreds of dollars in prizes were awarded and we raised over $7,500 for the Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation!! Thanks to all the sponsors, to everyone who attended and to Oak Creek Sporting Club for hosting the event again this year. We had our October meeting at Vahallen. After enjoying some pizza, we were shown their facility and were able to see some of their hand-painted wall coverings being made. I was very impressed and had no idea how many different wall coverings they make or that they send their products all over the world. Our next meeting will be held on November 6 at the Country Club of Lincoln. I look forward to seeing you all there for lunch and a tour. Be sure to mark your calendars for some Craft Axe Throwing at the Remodelers Christmas Party on December 4. I hope everyone is enjoying the fall season and looking forward to the holidays which are right around the corner.
