EarthWyz,
our Festival of Sustainability, started with this amazing aerial drone photograph of the children standing in the shape of the earth. It was a week jam-packed full of events that have had a huge impact on us as a school. These included a trip to the tip, eco-poetry, solar powered boats and ovens, fair trade produce, rubbish collecting, water sampling, food miles, plastics and much more. Guests included Miranda Krestovnikoff, and Alex Hibbert. All in all it was an inspiring and life-changing week!
The Spring Concerts
were an utter triumph! It was clear to see that the children really enjoyed taking part in a glorious celebration of music.

Spring 2017
The boarders have been full of the joys of Spring ... with trips to Maiden Castle, bowling, the Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Deer Rescue Centre. They celebrated Burns Supper, took part in the Boarders’ Concert and enjoyed many different activities around school including archery, go-karting, nerf gun battles, using the new equipment in the adventure playground and crafts galore!

Year 6 held Tea Parties to raise money for SCANN to help the street children of Nakuru in Kenya. They made sandwiches, tea and cakes. It was all very much enjoyed by everyone and the tea parties raised £836.73.
A sprinkling of fairy dust for a magical show of Peter Pan Jr. Congratulations to all the Year 6 children on a visually stunning and magnificent Disney extravaganza full of song, dance and spectacle!
Year 7 enjoyed a Singing Day
with Dominic Peckham at King’s Bruton.
The London Mozart Players
spent a morning with our string players.
There have been many wonderful
concerts this term.
The Lower School delighted audiences with The Selfish Giant. The children acted, sang and danced their way through the classic story giving confident and accomplished performances.
A fabulous Speech and Drama showcase evening was a wonderful opportunity for parents to see the children perform their LAMDA examination pieces.

The Friends’ Quiz Night was an evening to remember. The questions
were set by last year’s winners, the Headmaster’s team “On Y Va”, and included rounds of making famous landmarks out of Plasticine and structures with straws!
