Hazlegrove Headlines
Bringing the wider Hazlegrove community up to date with recent events...
Hazlegrove’s Festival of STEM concentrated on all aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The week was packed with visits, talks, activities and events that celebrated and inspired the children in their learning of STEM subjects. A space-themed cake competition, dinosaurs, bugs, planetariums, visits and workshops from a multitude of engineers, an author and a marine biologist were just some of the events during the week. A particular highlight was a Wildcat helicopter landing on the school grounds. We hope that the festival will have a lasting legacy at Hazlegrove and showed our passion for tomorrow.
