Memories were made and experiences shared for Year 7 at the River Dart Country Park. Year 5 had a fantastic time at Naturesbase Environmental Centre. Year 4 became pirates and Tudor explorers at Ufton Court, and Year 3 visited New Barn to learn about the Romans

from Year 3 to 8 had a great time coming to grips with some challenging and fascinating maths that working on a farm and raising animals involves.
The French play, ‘Ticket pour l’espace’ was a hit with Years 5, 6
and 7. The children were enthralled from beginning to end by the twists and turns of the story and amazed themselves at how much they were able to understand, through the clever use of language.
Great fun was had at Drone Club... Hazlegrove
has many amazing after school clubs available to the children. A new one this term was Drone Club. Pupils absolutely loved the drones and had such fun.

A delumptious Millionaires’ Lunch!
The Library was packed with over sixty word millionaires when they enjoyed a fabulous lunch in celebration of reading their socks off this term.
and Drama pupils gained 71 Distinctions and 11 Merits! The children were entered in Duo and solo LAMDA examinations at Grade 4 and Grade 5 levels.

Hockey success - Lots of medals have been won by girls from Year 3 to Year 8.

Hazlegrove athletes have been busy representing GB
around the world at the Triathle and Biathle European Championships in Germany and the World Laser Run Finals in Dublin.
The Hazlegrove Riding Team have qualified for the 2019 National Showjumping and National Eventers Finals.
Golf continues to be popular at
Hazlegrove. We held an Open Championship and it was great to have a representative at the prestigious Stowe Putter.
Inter-house Cross Country - all the children from Year 3 to Year 8 competed for their House. Norton were victorious this year.
Swimming pool refurbishment - All pupils have regular swimming lessons and are enjoying using the pool with its great new liner.
The Friends of Hazlegrove put on a dazzling Fireworks Night.
