We enjoyed a wonderful week full of eco-related activities for our Festival of Sustainability. These ranged from investigating what happens to our rubbish when it is buried to making an igloo from recycled plastic milk bottles.
World Book Day Celebrations
Mrs Marr, the school nurse, talked to the Nursery children about keeping healthy
Reception visited the Fleet Air Arm Museum...
Nursery enjoyed a space themed Drama Morning ...and also went to Haynes Motor Museum
A Royal Navy pilot visited Reception to talk about flying helicopters
Mr Stok told Year 1 about Victorian homes
To celebrate Pancake Day, Nursery had an unusual visitor!
Year 2 learnt about the Great Fire of London... Year 2 had fun on a trip to @Bristol ...and also heard all about Florence Nightingale
Everyone enjoyed a Burns Tea Party with haggis, neeps, tatties and Scottish dancing
The Pre-Prep Concert was a great success
Year 2 enjoyed their violin lessons and have also started piano lessons this term
The children were delighted to present a cheque for ÂŁ553.52 to Save the Children
All the fun of Easter Eggstravaganza Day!
Year 2 designed and printed their own t-shirts, made clay tiles, measured and learnt how to saw pieces of wood
