Trips and Adventures Galore!
Year 3 experienced life as a Roman at New Barn in Dorset; Year 7 enjoyed a week of adrenaline inducing activities at the River Dart Country Park; Year 5 went to Naturesbase in Wales for four days of scientific discovery, team building shelter building and navigation whilst Year 8 investigated the environmental impact of tourist activity on the area surrounding Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Remembrance Service
Ceramic poppies made by the Pre-Prep were laid at the flagpole in Remembrance of former pupils who lost their lives in conflict.
From monkey mayhem to galactic battles, the boarders enjoyed an action-packed term...
Enemies of Doctor Who was the theme for the Guys on fireworks night this year - they met a grisly fate on the bonfire!
Unmasked, the Year 7 production, was a selection of sketches ranging from
humourous to genuinely moving. Year 7 gave confident and polished performances.
Middle School Maths Morning Year 5 and 6 were united in their quest to enjoy all the mathematical challenges Mr Shaw could throw at them!
Over 60 Word Millionaires
enjoyed a wonderful lunch as a reward for reading their socks off this term!
Music triumphs as we have
enjoyed so many fantastic concerts this term. From the Pre-Prep Concert to the Joint King’s School Bruton Concert, pupils throughout the school have had lots of opportunities to perform.
European Day of Languages was celebrated in style, and the
children had fun dressing up to represent different European Countries.
Life as a Tudor was experienced by Year 4 when they visited Hook Court in Dorset.
Turkish delight for Hazlegrove Biathletes who brought home an array
of medals. A highlight was watching the children and a member of staff collect their medals on the podium whilst singing the National Anthem. Fabulous!

A special assembly to celebrate The Queen’s reign was held to
recognise and celebrate the achievement of Her Majesty The Queen in becoming our country’s longest reigning monarch.
U12 Girls Regional IAPS Hockey Champions and Silver Medallists at the National Championships
U11 Girls played some great hockey at the Natl IAPS Finals
U13 KSB Hockey Tournament Runners Up
