Hazlegrove’s recent Festival of Wellbeing concentrated on all aspects of mental and physical health. The week was packed with visits, talks, activities and events that celebrated and emphasised the importance of having a sense of wellbeing in a world that grows ever more complicated. Parenting Forums, early morning runs, artistic pursuits, cooking, reaching out to the community, discussions about faith, safety online, a food fayre and a whole school run in aid of Sport Relief were just some of the events on offer. A particular highlight was a talk by our Festival Patron, broadcaster and journalist, John McCarthy. We hope that the festival will have a lasting legacy at Hazlegrove in myriad ways.
