Itistimeto confess, itis Thework began in 2019, and now, in 2026, a storyhas beenflickeringthrough my mind Butto createthefilm,the art mustbe completedfirst. Itisthe only wayIwill knowthatI am readyto commitan even more insane amountoftimeto a project. The following challenges will become obvious as I attempt to build a set in my garage, along with puppets and all the tech needed for such a production.

Before I get there, a short, perhaps three-minute taster film will be made to attract potential local investors There are about fifty hurdles to jump over before the animation can come to life swiftly. But it is what all of my work has been slowly shuffling towards Let us not dismiss the large oil paintings first I see them hanging on my walls before finally finding the space willing to let me, hm, well, show off the work

The collection is by far the longest project I have chosen to work on, and with every moment of clarity, a new question appears, and a new ordinary life challenge interferes. I wish I could spend every day on this project but the truth is, I can’t and won’t. It is an escape route right out of my usual day to day commitments, so why would I rush it? Until the right people are around me to bring it to life, it remains in my arms. Believe me, I want to see it finished now, but then wjere would the adventure squeeze in? You know, the drama of dreams and creation.

And so, as I move on to the next oil painting, know that I am also working on the storyboard, characters and dialogue while I paint. In a way the painting will give the space to let the imagination fly What of the story? Well, you can get a sense of genre I suspect? Yes, that’s right Film Noir Think suspense and thrills, the supernatural and perhaps even scifi. The Flower is nature, is the divine, is the wake-up call, is a dream and nightmare

Viveles vacances d'été!

Ahh yes!The family and I finally broke away for some time in the south of France. To be specific, a beautiful family beach town named Lavandou. It was much easier to relax and just go with it than I was expecting. We relaxed in the sea, ate ice cream, drank Rosé, and mooched around the local shops. Shops that are filled with the kind of trendy beachy jewellery you would sort a expect to see. (Many beads and stones.)

There were even two local markets to walk around whilst feeling slightly dizzy under the glorious burning sun. I cannot tell you how lovely it was to be able to spend time staring at all the things for sale as well as the nightclub lighting for the beautiful Olives. Yum!

It was enriching to see all the flowers and cacti growing everywhere, such as along the roads, in the streets and all along the beachfront. It was also hard to miss how many lampposts and trees were planted right in the middle of the walking path. Dangerous for the wine lovers!

It has been just over 10 years since my hobby for this shop began! Tho it be in the shadows , it has stayed with me as a concept all this time. I would like to invite people to collaborate for the magazine, if you are curious, give me a shout on socials or via the website! Aworkthattook a little longer than firstthought, it is complete for now. who knows if I decide to make a few more touches in the furture... The idea is to make a jacket in the spirit ofthe Supernatural Strangelove brand.
