LEADERSHIPHAYWARD CULTIVATINGCOMMUNITYLEADERS NOWACCEPTINGAPPLICATIONS

Leadership Hayward is an intensive eight-month program, running from November to June, with one Friday session per month. Through our partnership with California State University, East Bay, University Extension, participants can earn 2.0 units of Continuing Education credit upon successful completion of the program.

Program Benefits:

Gain in-depth knowledge of Hayward's complex social and economic landscape

Explore real-world challenges faced by local leaders

Develop critical leadership skills through hands-on experiences

Examine diverse leadership styles and consensus-building techniques

Network with a diverse cohort of current and future community leaders

Impact: Our alumni have moved up to serve in various influential roles including:

State Legislature

Local Government

Alameda County Board of Supervisors

College presidencies

Business executive positions

Leadership roles in numerous organizations and agencies
