







Leadership Hayward is an intensive eight-month program, running from November to June, with one fun Friday session per month. Through our partnership with California State University, East Bay, University Extension, participants can earn 2.0 units of Continuing Education credit upon successful completion of the program.

A Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2024, during the special City Council meeting at 5:30 p.m., to discuss proposed draft maps, election sequencing, and introduce an ordinance to amend the Hayward Municipal Code to add Chapter Article 16 to Chapter 2, establishing district-based city council elections beginning in 2026.
