Foraged, picked, and prepped daily The Kitchen Garden provides an abundance of flavour, seasonality, and fresh picked ingredients that supply the garnishes, flourishes and flavours you see on all our menus.

Jerome and his highly skilled team are delighted to present dishes ranging from traditional British Classics to an exciting inspirational Fayre from around the globe, whether that be the opulent Saloon Restaurant, or our casual gastro style area, Hill’s Kitchen.

With a high demand paired with a burning desire to show off our beautiful grade I listed venue, we are delighted to announce our upcoming open day on the Sunday 17th September.

Engaged couples and those who have already chosen us are invited to explore our venue from the inside out and experience exactly what Hawkstone has to offer. You can expect a guided tour through each of our elegant wedding spaces. From the decadent ballroom to the breath-taking on-site chapel.

For the complete experience, a member of staff will be providing tours of selected bedrooms and suites, including the bridal suite, Brontë, not forgetting the undergound Man Cave, where the grooms preparations takes place.

jerome ' s culinary career ...

erome and his team deliver a culinary celebration of seasonal locally sourced ingredients from not only our farming neighbours in the Shropshire countryside but also our very own Kitchen Garden.Jerome grew up in Brittany, the historical country and cultural area in the North-West of Modern France.

Joining catering school in 2008, Jerome was offered to take a placement year in either Spain or the UK. Opting to take his placement here in the UK, he worked at The Waterside Inn, with world-renowned Michel Roux.

After graduating and finishing his studies in 2011, he applied for jobs through a French website, and secured a position at The Checkers, Montgomery, where he worked for 7 years.

Following on from here, he moved to Shrewsbury joining Hawkstone Hall as Sous Chef. Working his way up, Jerome is thrilled to now be the Executive Chef of Hawkstone Hall & Gardens for the last 3 months, and is excited to bring his own unique style and experience to the restaurant.

In true Hawkstone fashion, you will be greeted with Prosecco on arrival and canapés will be served throughout the day, giving you a taster of the highstandard of food, drink & service you'll receive on your big day.
