GENERAL INFORMATION Please ensure the correct documentation is brought with you, failure to do so will result in your notice not being taken. Please note payment is due at the time of booking on line. If either of you are subject to immigration control, further documents will be required.

Once you have chosen Langtons House as your venue, our experienced staff will assist you in making your wedding day happy and memorable.

• Choose the date & time for your ceremony • Ceremonies can be booked up to 18 months in advance for Langtons House (up to two years in advance at one of our Wedding Fairs or Wedding Open Days)

• Decide who your witnesses will be, you need at least two, they must be old enough to understand the meaning of the ceremony and must attend on the day, as they will be required to sign to state they have heard and understood the ceremony

• Packages can be booked up to two years in advance for Langtons House

• Decide what music you would like to play, approximately three songs, entrance/signing the register/exit. You must bring the music with you on the day of your ceremony; however we suggest you bring it in earlier to make sure it works on our music systems

• Ceremonies at an approved premise can be booked for up to two years in advance

• Pay your final balance three months before your ceremony date

Choose the room for your ceremony • West Room (maximum 50 people)

• Once we have received your final payment and authorities of your notice to marry, we will send you a confirmation letter including a checklist for you to sign and return before your big day

• Langtons Hall (maximum 100 people)

On your Wedding Day

• The Orangery (outside venue - 80 chairs)

• Don’t be late, you both need to be a Langtons House 15 minutes before your ceremony, five minutes apart if you don’t want your partner to see you. You will be interviewed separately by the registrar prior to your ceremony to check your details against your Notice of Marriage authorities

• East Room (maximum 50 people)

Make your choice from the list of options below • Ceremony in East or West Room • Ceremony in Langtons Hall or The Orangery • Friday Silver Package • Saturday Winter Package • Sunday Gold Package

• You may not be the only ceremony of the day and if you are late, your ceremony may be delayed until there is a slot available. This also applies to your guests; we cannot delay your ceremony for late arrivals

• Alternatively if you are looking for a much more low key quick marriage you can have a register • Parking if available is outside the entrance to office ceremony. These are held in a small office Langtons House for the brides only. Drop off on the ground floor of Langtons House. This is for only for bridesmaids and other guests that need a bride, groom and two witnesses assistance. Parking for guests can be found nearby Next steps in the town centre car parks • Book your ceremony with a non-refundable deposit

Following a yearlong programme of works on Langtons gardens, we are pleased to announce that the restoration is nearly complete.

There is still some seasonal gardening to be done, but all building works are finished.

There are some great new photo opportunities for our brides and grooms, with the new rustic headwall (ornamental bridge) and waterfall feature at the end of the lake. Three new statement entrances around the grounds, Victorian greenhouse and paved stable yard with vintage feel cafĂŠ due to open in the New Year.

Wedding Fairs at Langtons House are open to the public free of charge; where you get the

opportunity to visit Langtons House, meet the Registrars and some local wedding companies, who are there to assist you with your choices for your special day. There is a fashion show in the grand hall around mid-day. This is a great opportunity to book your wedding up to two years in advance.
