Written by Sahra Ali “I am a citizen of the world” Lukasz Opalinski states, however, as the principle designer of Project Magnitude, a 90 meter luxury mega yacht jointly presented by Dutch yacht builders, Oceanco, it is quickly apparent that Opalinski is not just a citizen but a visionary in his own right. Originally hailing from Poland, Opalinski was inspired at an early age. Upon realization of his hyperawareness of the environment around him, he found comfort in the pages of his sketchbook. At 20, Opalinski left Poland to study in the UK where his talents soared and he eventually established himself as an artist/designer of all things, namely furniture.
