PHASE A: MAKEUP REMOVAL A very important first step to neutralize skin from makeup, sweat, pollution and the more immediate superficial impurities. â˜› YOU WILL NEED: Purifying Micellar Cleansing Cloths IRENEâ€™S TIPS: Pay attention to the soft side and the exfoliating side of the Micellar Cloth.

LIPS Lipstick and other lip products often have ingredients that are not beneficial to skin, important to make sure there is no cross contamination of those ingredients by starting with a simple lip cleansing process.

Use soft side to gently remove any makeup and to cleanse lips.

EYES

With another Micellar Cloth we will remove makeup and cleanse the eye area starting with the eyelids and following to the lower and then upper eyelashes.

For stubborn mascara, waterproof mascara or heavier eye makeup you can add eye makeup remover to the cloth and proceed.

IRENEâ€™S TIPS: Pay special attention to always use soft side only for the eye area.

Use another cloth to cleanse face with soft and gentle upward motions using the soft side.

Cleanse neck and décolleté area first using the soft side. Use the exfoliating side of the Micellar Cloth to gently exfoliate décolleté and neck area.

PHASE B: FIRST CLEANSING The first cleansing is the foundation to an outstanding facial. Skin needs to be thoroughly purified so that it will be able to absorb and benefit from all of the actives and extracts that will be applied. ☛ YOU WILL NEED: Marine Gentle Cleansing Lait or Marine Purifying Cleansing Mousse according to DermaProfile™ and one clean warm towel.

CLEANSER APPLICATION With gentle circular motions cleanse face, neck and décolleté areas. As needed you can add water to your hands to emulsify cleanser and keep with the massaging and cleansing process. Add more cleanser as needed to do a thorough cleansing.

CLEANSER REMOVAL FIRST PASS

Using a warm towel start with a flat stroking motion across the décolleté area.

Wrap the face with the towel.

IRENE’S TIPS: always test warm towel temperature with your inner arm area to make sure that it is not too warm.

Rolling the towel down use the edges to gently wipe face with short strokes.

Wipe neck area.

CLEANSER REMOVAL SECOND PASS

Fold towel to the clean side .

Gently wrap face for another quicker, more gentle pass down the face, neck and décolleté area.

DRY FACE

Using a tissue gently lay it on face, passing your hand gently across it to dry the face, neck and decollete.

IRENEâ€™S TIPS: I always like to gently dry the face in order to not dilute the Collagen Tonic that will be applied and keep the skinâ€™s pH level on check.

TONING

Saturate two cotton pads and gently sweep across face in upwards and outwards motions.

☛ WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Collagen Tonic appropriate for client’s DermaProfile™.

PHASE C: SECOND CLEANSING ☛ WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Marine Purifying Cleansing Mousse or Marine Gentle Cleansing Lait or Marine Gel AHA cleanser and three clean facial towels (two warm towels and one cool towel).

Apply cleanser directly with your hand to dry skin starting with the cheek area, following with forehead and chin. End with the neck and décolleté area. Gentle quick massage.

If you applied one of the MARINE AHA GEL CLEANSERS at this point you can leave on face for 1-4 minutes for the AHA’s to work on the skin according to client’s DermaProfile™ needs. Optional steam at this step.

FIRST TOWEL CLEANSER REMOVAL

Using a warm towel start with a flat stroking motion across the décolleté area

Wrap the face with the towel Gently wipe face outwards making sure you remove all of the cleanser especially paying attention when you have used one of the MARINE AHA GEL CLEANSERS.

Fold towel towards clean side and do a gentle and quick second pass paying special attention focusing on the nose and neck area.

IRENE’S TIP: in a gentle manner it is important to be thorough so you do not leave any AHAs on the skin or by the hair roots in order to follow to the next step in the facial.

SECOND TOWEL CLEANSER REMOVAL Repeat in a brief manner using a second fresh warm towel using gentle motions. Pay special attention with this towel to remove cleanser all around the neck.

THIRD TOWEL CLEANSER REMOVAL

Using a third fresh cool towel repeat.

TONING ☛ WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Collagen Tonic appropriate for client’s DermaProfile™.

Using your hands apply toner with gentle tapping movements across décolleté and face followed with very gentle.

IRENE’S TIPS: at this point you will have thoroughly cleansed and with the help of the toner you will have balanced skin’s pH level in order for the skin to be most receptive to the treatments to follow.

â˜› WHAT YOU WILL NEED: massagers in a bowl of ice water.

For a revitalizing and anti-inflammatory effect cool the massagers in ice water.

Remove massagers from ice water and gently tap on towel so excess water is removed.

Advice client that they you will be using a very cold massager and then also tap the clientâ€™s shoulder with the massager so that they are aware of the temperature before you start with the massage.

THE NECK AND DÉCOLLETÉ RITUAL

` Use the massagers on the sides of the neck muscles with a medium to stronger pressure to tone neck.

IRENE’S TIPS: don’t put pressure in the middle area of the neck throughout this massage protocol.

Use the massagers to work on diminishing wrinkles going across the neck with gentle pressure.

Use the massagers following vertical alternating moments up and down the décolleté area.

Using medium pressure work the muscles on what is considered the double-chin area with long firm movements to tone the area.

IRENE’S TIPS: this area often is affected by the wrinkling we do when we sleep, it is important to revitalize this area with a massage.

Using the handle part of the massagers use firm and quick upward movements all up the neck and working all the way up to the doublechin area.

IRENEâ€™S TIPS: work the neck muscles well and thoroughly but pay special attention to not press on the middle triangular soft area of the neck.

THE FACE RITUAL

Starting with one side of the face. With one massager and with long medium pressure movements massage upwards following the sides of the face helping yourself with your other hand holding the side of the face.

Alternate to using the handle of the massager using long upward strokes on the side of the face helping yourself with your other to hold gently the face in place. Repeat same movements with the other side of the face.

Using two massagers and starting from the nose area work in a round and outwards manner to contour the cheekbone area finishing up on the eyebrows.

Finish with up and down movements across the forehead.

IRENEâ€™S TIPS: In order to give a full revitalizing massage, repeat this overall movement starting from the nose, covering the cheekbone area and finishing up on the eyebrows and forehead 3-5 times.

Using the gold sphere end of the massager contour lips working with some pressure points.

Using the handles of the massagers work around the lips from side to side by adding pressure in a lip plumping manner almost as if you wanted to close them shut.

Using the massager we work on the upper lip back and forth to work on the upper lip wrinkles with medium pressure.

Using the massager in upward and outward motions work the laugh lines with medium pressure.

Using medium pressure follow a dotted pressure pattern of six different pressure points starting from the edge of the lips following and ending all the way up at the cheek bones.

THE EYE RITUAL

Use one hand to very gently open the crowâ€™s feet wrinkles and with the massager work on those wrinkles almost as if you were trying to erase them with the semi precious stone massager.

Follow the same process now using the gold sphere end of the massager. Try to also do some gentle circular movements.

Using the gold sphere and starting from the outer section follow with light to medium pressure points on the orbicular bone area counting 8 pressure points.

IRENEâ€™S TIPS: always try to find and follow the ocular bone to help yourself follow the eye counter area.

Using the massager gently massage just right under the eyebrow going outwards and end with an up and down motion on the sides of the eyes.

Using the massager do criss cross movements using medium pressure to work on the muscle between the eyebrows.

Using the massagers work the forehead wrinkles with the semi-precious stone.

Using the handles of the massager in upward strokes work the sides of the face all the way up to the forehead area. Finish with upwards movements across the forehead.

IRENEâ€™S TIP: Put more pressure when going up than going down.

PEARL TREATMENT MASKS PEARL MASK PREPARATION

In a bowl add the correct measurement (te dare la medida) of the Mask Base along with a dosage of the Pearl Activator.

Blend until mask has a creamy texture.

Apply with brush starting from the center of the face in outwards and upwards motions. Make sure you cover the neck and décolleté areas. After a first pass throughout the face, neck and décolleté area use the rest of the mask to add more mask to any specific areas of concern.

Gently remove with a lukewarm towel.

Tone using your hands.

PEARL TREATMENT VEILS VEIL APPLICATION

Saturate gauze with Tonic using the adequate Tonic for the clients DermaProfileâ„¢.

Advice client that a gauze will be applied on face and that it will feel cool when applied.

Using the help of the PRECIOUS CONTOURING FACIAL MASSAGER gently contour gauze and do a very gentle overall face massage. Pay special attention to contour gauze in upper lip and neck area.

Add the correct measurement of the Veil Base in a bowl.

Add the Pearl Activating Nectar (no se el nombre todavia) and using an applicator stick blend very well.

IRENEâ€™S TIP: try to blend thoroughly however due to the high concentration of actives it is normal that there will be some small clumps of actives left in the Veil blend.

Starting with the middle part of the face start applying the Veil Blend. Try to work an even smooth layer across the face and neck.

Advice client that you will cover their eyes with this so that the treatment can include the eye area. If the client does not like their eyes covered you leave the eye area uncovered. Let them know they should keep their eyes closed.

Advice client that you will cover their mouth with this so that the treatment can include the mouth and lips. If the client does not like their lips covered you may leave this area uncovered.

Once the entire face is covered you can work around the face to smooth the Veil where needed.

Leave on for 12-15 minutes.

In one continuous upward movement remove the mask starting from the neck and all the way up to the forehead. Using a cotton saturated with the CALMING COLLAGEN TONIC remove any leftover Veil. Pay special attention to hairline area and nostrils.
