As the New Year of 2022 advances we at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security are hopeful that all our endeavours that started in the year 2021 and paused because of the COVID restrictions will be fulfilled. But moving forward we are indeed blessed to be alive and to have a number of millstones we have to celebrate for this year. One of them is the Programme of Advancement Through Health and Education (PATH) celebrates 20 years of existence and bringing hope to the poor families of Jamaica.

Another Milestone is that the Early Stimulation Programme celebrates 47 years. Mrs Gunter –Gayle who has been with this agency for the past 34 years has steered this agency and I am proud to see this department being highlighted in this issue. The Ministry is doing many things despite our challenges and I implore you to get the scoop right here from this very interesting news filled platform.
