TRAINING

ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

We offer a robust training curriculum designed for your professional growth. For the first year of your employment, you will attend in person classes held by our project management and superintendent staff twice a month. In addition, we have a continuing education program to ensure you receive ongoing training as you progress in your career.

Our new hire training program includes curriculum on topics essential to your day to day work (e.g. profitability, safety, etc.), certification courses (e.g., scaffold competent person), and more!

Day in the life of

All new hires (i.e. recent college graduates) will begin their career with Harvey Cleary as a Project Engineer. Project Engineers will spend the first years of their career learning both the project management and superintendent roles within the company. By shadowing both the project management and superintendent teams, Project Engineers will see the full breadth of the construction process to gain a broader view of the services we perform. During this time, we will work closely with Project Engineers to assess their strengths and interest in moving into the Assistant Project Manager or Assistant Superintendent role.
