BEZOEK AAN DE HOOFDSTAD / THE CAPITAL OF GERMANY

BERLIJN, BERLIJN...

We hebben voor de fotoshoot onze fietsen meegenomen naar de hoofdstad van Duitsland. Berlijn met de fiets? Een goed bewaard geheim!

We laten ons de Prenzlauer Berg afrollen naar Friedrichshain richting Mitte tot aan de Museumsinsel. Voor ons team was Berlijn in ieder geval een geweldige ervaring, de stad is geweldig veelzijdig!

Onze tip: Meteen een paar dagen inplannen, dat is meer relaxed.

Wíj komen in ieder geval zeker terug!

We took our bikes to Berlin for a photo shooting. Exploring the capital by bike? Why certainly!

We set out to Prenzlauer Berg and glided over Friedrichshain towards Museum Island in the heart of Berlin‘s city center. Berlin was a fantastic experience for our team by all means; the city is extremely versatile.

Our tip: plan a few days in for sightseeing so everything is more laid-back.

We‘ll definitely be returning!

TREKKING BIKES Bij het ontwikkelen van onze VICTORIA Trekking modellen staat dagelijks gebruiksgemak boven aan de lijst. Of je nu een lange tourtocht voor de boeg hebt of naar je werk fiets. De geometrie van alle modellen zijn redelijk sportief en zijn afgemonteerd met verende voorvork, schijfremmen en hoge kwaliteit schakeling. Ook zijn enkele modellen uitgevoerd met een Belt-Drive in plaats van een normale ketting- een hele goede keus.

When designing our VICTORIA Trekking models, we don‘t forget about practicability in everyday use. This way it doesn‘t matter if you are on an extended tour or short commute to work. The geometry on all models is moderately sporty equipped with great features including a suspension fork, disc brakes and high quality gearing. Some models are equipped with a belt drive instead of a chain drive – always a good choice.

TRANZ X De krachtige TRANZ X aandrijving is, afhankelijk van het model, als midden-of voorwielmotor beschikbaar. Op enkele e-Urban modellen met de daarbij behorende Flexpack Accu, is de accu in het frame weggewerkt, wat er heel fraai uitziet! e-Urban modellen zien er zodoende niet meer uit als conventionele Pedelecs. Hierdoor zijn de e-Urban modellen geliefd bij rijders, die dit belangrijk vinden.

The TRANZ X drive system is available as a front drive or mid-drive.

Some e-Urban models are equipped with a frame-integrated FlexPack battery giving them an uniquely integrated appearance. e-Urban models with a TRANZ X drive no longer look like classic pedelecs thus making them appealing especially to those who, until now, haven‘t been keen on the looks of non-integrated designs.

Drie verschillende TRANZ X aandrijfsystemen worden toegepast op onze VICTORIA fietsen. De compacte ’F 15’ Front-drive, de iets krachtigere ‘M 16’ Mid-drive en de sterke ‘M 25’ Mid Drive. De VICTORIA Pedelecs met TranzX uitgerust hebben een laag geluids-en trillingsniveau.

Wat is de ‘Energie Plus’?

Wat is de actieradrius met een volgeladen accu?

Uw trapkracht wordt door het vermogen van een kleine en krachtige elektomotor ondersteund. Onze e-bikes rijden niet alleen met motorondersteuning: het is een clevere, perfect gedoseerde combinatie van spierkracht en elektrische ondersteuning- en u bent altijd actief!

De actieradius van de accu wordt door vele factoren beïnvloed. Naast de gekozen modus zijn leeftijd en toestand van de accu bepalend. Ook het gewicht van berijder en/of bagage en aard van de route spelen een belangrijke rol. Wind en temperatuur, weg condities, bandenspanning en de mate van het ‘Stop en Go’ gebruik zijn eveneens van invloed. De aangegeven actieradius in deze catalogus zijn gemiddelde waarden en zijn een indicatie.

Hoe snel rij ik met ‘Energie Plus’?

Zo snel als je wilt. Wanneer de 25 km/h bereikt wordt, schakelt de ondersteuning rustig af. Sneller gaat het dan alleen door eigen trapkracht, of als het bergaf gaat.

Wat is de oplaadtijd van de accu?

De moderne lithium-ion accu’s laden in 2,5 tot 8 uur op- afhankelijk van de restcapaciteit, soort accu en laadapparaat. U kunt de accu te allen tijde bijladen.

Overigens: in de loop van 800 en meer laadcycli neemt de capaciteit aan energie af: de beschikbare ondersteuning neemt langzaam af.

Hoe wordt ‘Energie Plus’ ingeschakeld?

Door een simpele druk op de knop: de e-bike staat startklaar. De ‘Energie Plus’ wordt direct ingeschakeld wanneer u druk op de pedalen zet (modellen met trapondersteuning).

Hoe wordt ‘Energie Plus’ aangestuurd?

Waar berg ik de accu op tijdens langere periode van niet gebruik?

Volautomatisch. Afhankelijk hoeveel kracht u op de pedalen uitoefend (trapkracht gestuurd).

Wordt de accu langer dan twee maanden niet gebruikt, bijvoorbeeld in de winter, dient de accu in een vorstvrije ruimte bewaard te worden (het best bij 7-10 graden). Het is verstandig de accu met 50- 80% lading weg te leggen. Elke 2-3 maanden bijladen, dit voorkomt ‘diepteontlading’.

Deze volledige ontlading kan alleen ontstaan in rustperioden en kan de accu onbruikbaar maken!

Wat betekent ‘Eco modus’?

Bij veel van onze e-bikes kan de ondersteuning trapsgewijs ingesteld worden. Er zijn modellen met twee, drie en vier standen. De ECO-modus gebruikt behoedzaam de ‘energie plus’ en bespaart daardoor natuurlijk elektrische energie. Zodoende wordt het bereik met een volgeladen accu groter. Heeft de e-bike ook een extra power-modus dan rij je met veel ‘energie-plus’, dus met extra krachtige ondersteuning. Natuurlijk verminderd de actieradius dan ook. Er kan op elk gewenst moment gewisseld worden. Door één druk op de knop aan het stuur.

Hoe lang gaat een accu mee?

VICTORIA e-bikes zijn voorzien van moderne, lichte Lithium-Ion accu’s en gaan bij correct gebruik tot 800 laadcycli mee. Gemiddeld is dit een afstand van zo’n 25000 km!

Kan ik ook zonder ‘Energie Plus’ rijden?

Wanneer heeft mijn VICTORIA e-bike een onderhoudsbeurt nodig?

De ondersteuning is handmatig uit te schakelen. Zonder motorondersteuning rijdt de e-bike als een normale fiets. Zo is het ook mogelijk bij lege accu nog de bestemming te bereiken.

Minstens één maal per jaar dient een VICTORIA e-bike een onderhoudsbeurt te krijgen bij de officiële VICTORIA dealer. Dit draagt bij aan een goede conditie van de e-bike, zorgt voor veiligheid in het verkeer en een langere levensduur!

Wat is ‘opstart-ondersteuning?’

Bij een e-bike met opstart-ondersteuning kan een korte afstand alleen op motorkracht gereden worden-bij het wegrijden (tot max 6km/h) Juist in het stadsverkeer een extra stukje comfort!

Hoe hoog zijn de stroomkosten?

Een VICTORIA e-bike verbruikt per 50 km ongeveer 0,5 kWh aan stroom.

Dat is zo’n 10 eurocent. Anders gezegd: 5 uur onderweg op de e-bike kost net zoveel energie als in dezelfde tijd een brandende 100 W lamp.

What does „Energy Plus“ mean?

Whenever you pedal, a small but powerful electric motor adds to your force. Our e-bikes don‘t run by themselves using only battery power. Instead we cleverly combine muscle power and electric power to support you when you need it – this way you always remain active!

A VICTORIA e-bike consumes about half a kilowatt-hour per 50 km, that‘s about 10 ct of cost. Put differently: if you go on a five hour tour with your e-bike and forget to switch off a standard 100 watt incandescent light bulb at home, the lamp will use as much energy as your tour.

How fast can I go with „Energy Plus“?

How far will a charged battery take me?

As fast as you like. When you reach a speed of 25 km per hour the regulation circuits will smoothly and silently adjust the „Energy Plus“ down to nothing. You can still go faster by pedaling harder or by going downhill.

The range of an e-bike per battery charge depends on multiple factors. Whether you‘re in eco-, normal- or power mode; age and state of battery; cyclist‘s weight; track profile; wind and temperature; road surface; inflation pressure and frequency of „stop and go“. The ranges stated in this catalog are mean values and should give you a good orientation.

How do I switch on „Energy Plus“?

Push a button – and your e-bike is ready. „Energy Plus“ will start working as soon as you start pedaling. (This applies to models with pedal-control).

How long does charging the battery take?

State-of-the-art lithium-ion batterijs take between 2.5 and 8 hours to charge – depending on residual charge, type of battery, and charging device. You can recharge your batterijs any time. By the way: during the life-time of your battery, which encompasses 800 or more load cycles, the battery‘s capacity will inevitably decrease. The amount of „Energy Plus“ you experience will by and by become a little less.

How do I control „Energy Plus“?

It controls itself. It reacts to the force your feet apply to the pedals.

How do I store the batterijs in Winter?

Certain e-bikes offer a feature for changing the assistance level of „Energy Plus“. We have models with two, three or four levels. In Eco mode „Energy Plus“ is assists very gentle, thereby saving battery power. This leads to a greater range per battery charge. Models that offer a power mode will support you with a lot of extra power, at the expense of a shorter range. Normal mode lies in-between and is built into all our models. Changing from one mode to another is only a button‘s push away; the button is located on the handlebar.

If your e-bike remains unused for two months or more, for instance in Winter, you should store the battery in a frost-protected room (7-10 degrees Celsius is optimal). While not in use, the battery will slowly discharge. Even though not in use, you should remember to recharge it every 2-3 months in order to protect the battery from total discharge. A total discharge can damage the cells in the battery and reduce significantly battery capacity or even render the battery useless. Total dicharge only occurs during storage, not while in use.

Can I ride without „Energy Plus“?

If you switch off „Energy Plus“ your e-bike will ride just like a conventional bicycle. You can switch it off any time. This is also why you don‘t need to worry about running out of battery power before reaching your destination.

Do I need to take an e-bike to inspections?

e-bikes with starting aid can cover short distances purely by battery power (from a speed of 6 km per hour or 20 km per hour). This makes starting up easier and provides you with some extra comfort in traffic.

You should have your e-bike inspected at least once per year. Your VICTORIA dealer will provide you with all necessary details. This helps preserve the bicycle‘s worth, ensures safety in road traffic, and let‘s you experience „Energy Plus“ on every trip.

We use modern, light-weight lithium-ion batterijs. If handled with care they will last for about 800 load cycles. Assuming average range this corresponds to a distance of 25,000 to 30,000 kilometers!
