Abstract This paper studies Importance of on-site emergency planning deals with the safety attitudes of employees & company, their relationship with safety sessions, their behavior towards safety planning. From a technical point of view, emergency planning might be used as a technique for enhancing attitudes towards hazardous situations and to improve safety and occupational health. Self-efficiency allows to enhance planning effectiveness. The purpose of this paper is to explore various major emergency in any plant is one, which has the potential to cause serious injury or loss of life, which tends to cause disruption inside or outside the factory premises and requires the use of outside resources. The emergency is termed “On-Site” when it confines itself within the factory even though it may require external help and “off-site” when the emergency extends outside the factory premises. It is to be understood that if emergency occurs inside the plant and cannot be controlled, it may lead to an “Off – Site Emergency”. The company having a clear policy about safety of the company. Every Company has prepared On- Site Emergency Plan for unforeseen circumstances. This On- Site Emergency Plan has been updated to control such situation effectively like--A fire An explosion An escape of flammable and toxic gases or liquid.
