NOTE: All venues have step free access except Harrogate Studio Theatre which is only accessible via three flights of stairs. For more information on the accessibility of each venue please contact our friendly box office team who will be able to assist you.

Thank you as always for your continued support. Audiences so far in 2025 have been as buoyant as ever, and we are thrilled to share with you a summer season that is as varied and eclectic as usual.

Alan Ayckbourn’s brilliant comedy Just Between Ourselves features five birthdays, two unhappy marriages, and one possessive motherpresented by the acclaimed London Classic Theatre Company.

For something a little different, Pinch Punch welcome you aboard Locomotive for Murder: The Improvised Whodunnit. Using audience stories and suggestions, they’ll create a unique, never-to-be-repeated murder mystery. If you love comedy or a good whodunnit, then this is the show for you.

Families are in for a treat as Tom Fletcher’s interactive adventures for big imaginations are leaping from page to stage. The much-loved Who’s in Your Book? series makes its musical debut with There’s a Monster in Your Show—a high-energy, 50-minute adventure and the perfect introduction to live theatre.

On a personal note, as a student in the early 1980s, ABC, from my hometown of Sheffield, were huge and my favourite band, so I’m particularly excited to welcome their lead singer, Martin Fry, to Harrogate Theatre this May.

Our incredible community companies have come up with a tremendous range of shows once more. HOPS Musical Theatre Company brings the West End hit The Witches of Eastwick to life, Woodlands Drama Group performs A Month of Sundays by Bob Larbey, and Harrogate Dramatic Society bring to life the endearing, ridiculous and sometimes eccentric incidents as seen through the eyes of an American in Notes From A Small Island by Bill Bryson.

As always, there’s a fantastic selection of feelgood music events across all three of our town centre venues. And please continue to look out for our fundraising events and opportunities to donate towards the continuing success of the theatre in our 125th year.

We hope to see you soon!

But behind the bow ties and fake tans, there are jealousies and avarice, divorces and affairs. This is upstairs meets downstairs through a drunken gaze.

By turns satirical and touching, Godber turns his laser gaze onto the Black Tie Ball in all its sophisticated pomp.
