Broadcaster and journalist, John-Paul Flintoff will supersize your networking and negotiation skills, explaining why improvisation is no longer just for performers, but a life skill we can all use. Writer and broadcaster Natalie Haynes will bring a high-octane and humorous exploration of Revolution, sharing what revolutionary thinkers of the ancient world discovered and what this offers modern life.

Acclaimed author Michael Brooks will explore how our search for truth has evolved, tracing ideas about our existence from astrology to quantum theory. Dr Tiffany Watt Smith will reveal how emotions have a story influencing every area of our lives. Discover how our sense of self is defined by memories and why nostalgia can be deadly. Named as one of 10 people who could change the world, CEO of ClientEarth, James Thornton will explain how everyone can fight for and play a role in evolving a healthier planet.

CONSTITUTION | 25 JANUARY 2018 | 7.30pm Power is still concentrated in the hands of men and decisions taken by those with power tend to perpetuate inequality. Former Government Minister for Women, Jo Swinson, puts the case that everyone has the power to make our society truly equal. Do we have limits and how can we be sure? Human Rights Barrister, Dexter Dias will share his pioneering examination of who we become when faced with life’s most difficult decisions, ultimately offering a new understanding of what makes us human.
