We’re passionate about making beds in the most responsible way too. And for us, that means caring where everything comes from. It’s why we grow natural comfort fillings on our Yorkshire farm, weave our fabrics in-house and make our own award-winning springs.

Welcome to our farm. Just 18 miles from our factory, where every Harrison Spinks bed starts its life.
With acres of homegrown natural hemp fibres, linen flax and our flock of sheep, it’s here, on 300 acres of prime Yorkshire land, where our story begins.
We’re not only bedmakers, we’re sheep farmers too
NO ONE LOVES WOOL, LIKE WE LOVE WOOL
We rear our own happy sheep on our rich, untreated pastures. Being passionate members of the British sheep-farming community, it’s important to know where every fleece comes from. So, in addition to wool from our farm, we were the first bedmaker to partner with British Wool to use 100% traceable homegrown wool.
The natural wonder of wool
Soft, springy, antibacterial and fire retardant. When it came to choosing the right natural fillings for our beds, wool was top of the list. Warm in winter, cooling in summer, it’s heat and moisture regulating. Keeping you comfortable whatever the weather.
Using the finest quality British wool for our luxury handblended fillings and homewoven fabrics has another healthy benefit too. Naturally fire retardant, all our beds are made without the need to add FR chemicals or undesirable treatments.
More natural fillings means a more luxurious feel
When it comes to your comfort, you can’t have too much of a good thing.
Here at Harrison Spinks, we blend our luxurious natural fillings ourselves. And include cashmere, mohair, silk, cotton and of course, our favourite British wool.

Hemp is our hero!
We’re particular about quality and committed to making beds in the most responsible way.
So growing much of what we need is the only answer.
It’s why we have our own farm and why we love growing hemp.
It’s a crop that just keeps on giving.
Generous layers of hemp fibres provide the perfect natural luxury bed experience. And while you’re sleeping soundly, the durable fibres are super efficient at absorbing moisture. Helping you keep cool and dry all night.
That’s not all they absorb. Each crop sucks more carbon out of the atmosphere than it takes to grow. Plus, in true Yorkshire style, nothing goes to waste. The parts of the plant that don’t make it into a Harrison Spinks bed are used for animal bedding, biofuel and sustainable building materials.
Our linen fibres come from our farm too
We use the stems of the pretty blue flax flower to make our natural linen. Up to three times stronger than cotton, they create a lustrous, absorbent and breathable linen.

Investing in state-of-the-art looms and re-igniting the long tradition of weaving in the area, we are the only UK bedmaker to weave our mattress fabric.
Our exclusive FabriSafe™ cloth is unlike any other bed fabric. Made with quality wool yarn and natural viscose, its unparalleled soft, breathable and luxurious qualities are perfect next to your body.
But that’s not the only reason we weave our own. Made with a high wool content, it’s naturally fire-retardant. By removing the need to add potentially harmful fire retardant treatments, we’ve created a safe sleep surface designed for a peaceful nights sleep.

Always ambitious, we set our sights on creating a revolutionary spring core that offered not only superior support, but is also capable of being recycled too. After five years of development, Cortec™ was born.

Long, deep, restful sleep starts deep down in our beds. Designed to isolate and absorb movement, while providing fully independent targeted support, Cortec™ changes everything.
Each individual spring in this award-winning system is ultrasonic welded into its own pocket, not glued like other systems. This unique process gives each spring the freedom to move and support without being stuck, literally, to the springs next to them.
Why no glue?
We don’t glue our pocket springs together, for two good reasons. Glue hardens over time, affecting the springs’ ability to move freely. Plus, it makes it more difficult to recycle. All our pocket springs are made from just two things. Pocket cloth and British steel. Both are 100% recyclable.

Storage Divan Base
Featuring a layer of springs for a more supportive base, this deep divan has our True Edge design and is available in four stoarge drawer options.
Ottoman Base
The ottoman base with glides opens easily and is also available with castors. Only available in 135cm, 150cm and 180cm sizes.
Shallow Divan Base
This shallow base provides a more contemporary look, and has our True Edge design with supportive springs.
Slim Divan Base
