TV presenter Adam Henson is one of the UK’s best-loved farmers. Passionate about farming heritage, Adam continues his father’s legacy in the conservation of rare and native breeds.
A fifth-generation family business dating back to 1840, Harrison Spinks marries traditional craftsmanship with new technology to build beautiful beds where sustainability and innovation are sewn into every mattress.

Fine, lustrous and resilient; Cotswold wool is supreme among British wool, often referred to as The Golden Fleece. This luxury collection features wool chosen by Adam from rare and indigenous breeds, including Cotswold, Romney and Whiteface Dartmoor.
Wool is nature’s marvel. It is resilient, soft, springy, and bounces back from compression to provide lasting comfort, plus it is naturally anti-bacterial and fireretardant, eliminating the need for chemicals.
Now, more than ever, we rely on custodians of our land such as Adam Henson to preserve our heritage. Inspired by the actions of his father, who established Cotswold Farm Park in 1971, he works hard to protect and promote rare breeds, and our farming heritage, through research and education.
Championing rare breeds is only the start for Adam Henson. He also works with the Cotswold Sheep Society to help other local farmers achieve a fair price for their wool, which we’re proud to use in this exclusive range of mattresses.
Sustainability is also the driving force at the Harrison Spinks Innovation Centre where we develop new materials and techniques to complement the craftsmanship behind our beds including Cortec™ – the world’s first spring system to seamlessly combine comfort and sustainability.

Our Cortec™ springs are 100% comfortable and 100% recyclable. The finest high-tensile wire is formed into innovative springs, individually pocketed and heat sealed – so no glue, no foam, no landfill.
Ultra-responsive, our Cortec™ Natural Pocket Cloth Springs form the supportive core of every mattress in the Adam Henson collection. Cradling the body and reacting to individual movements, they work together with layers of HD Micro springs to reduce pressure points and roll-together, significantly improving the quality of your sleep.
We are the only UK bedmaker to weave our own mattress fabric.
Crafted in our Yorkshire-based factory, this innovative ticking contains a high wool content, making it naturally fire-retardant and eliminating the need for artificial treatments.
Designed through innovation, built by tradition, the Adam Henson collection celebrates craftsmanship at the highest levels. Handmade by artisan bedmakers, all of the beds in this collection are lovingly put together using time-honoured techniques.
Our family of craftsmen and women hand sew, sidestitch and tuft our mattresses, while our mattress ticking is woven on our own looms. Our bases and headboards only use FSC® certified wood, supporting responsible forestry and are all upholstered by hand.

Customising your bed is simple. Choose from four mattress types and three tensions – Gentle, Medium, or Firm – with the option for split tensions to suit both you and your partner. For added convenience, opt for zip and link: two mattresses joined at the centre with a zip, making delivery and turning effortless.
For an extra layer of luxury, choose our mattress enhancers, designed to add even more comfort and softness to your sleep.
Your mattress can be made to fit your existing bed frame or paired with one of our divan bases, available with Standard or Continental drawers and upholstered in a choice of luxury fabrics.
Golden Fleece, rare breed and indigenous wools are combined with natural cotton and a British wool and viscose blend for a mattress to take you through the seasons.
Targeted support comes from a central Cortec™ Natural Pocket Cloth spring system working alongside HD 4000, 3000 and 2500 Micro Springs.
Three rows of mattress side stitching provides stability across the whole of the sleeping surface which is finished with an in-house woven FR chemical treatment free fabric.

A spring count of 20300 consisting of an innovative Cortec™ Natural Pocket Cloth spring system working alongside innovative HD Micro and Microlution Airflow springs close to the sleeping surface for the ultimate in support.

Generously filled with the finest natural and sustainable fibres such as Golden Fleece, rare breed and indigenous wool chosen by Adam himself from Cotswold farms.
