THE TOWN OF HARRISBURG CURRENTLY HAS AN EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A PROJECT MANAGER.
The Town of Harrisburg is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to join our Engineering Department. The Project Manager will play a vital role in shaping the future of the Town. In this role, you will oversee capital improvement projects, including:
• Transportation
• Water & Sewer Infrastructure
• Stormwater Management
• Pedestrian Facilities
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects.
• Review engineering designs and ensure compliance with Town standards.
• Oversee consultants and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct plan reviews, and site inspections, and enforce construction regulations.
• Contribute to the administration of the Town’s Phase II Stormwater Permit.
A Successful Candidate has significant experience in engineering, ideally within a municipal or utilities setting, strong technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and proficient CAD and GIS technology knowledge. An EngineerIn-Training (EIT) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are preferred but not required. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field is required.
