Annual General Meeting 2025 Results of Resolutions
This year’s AGM was held at Rothamsted Conference Centre in Harpenden on Friday 25th April 2025.
We would like to thank all our members who participated this year.
Members who were unable to attend in person were also provided the opportunity to view the proceedings online and ask any questions of the Board in advance of the AGM.
The main purpose of the meeting was to consider the resolutions set out in the table opposite, which were put to the members and voted on by a poll.
In addition, members also heard from both the Chairman and the CEO on the Society’s performance and key achievements in 2024 as well as the outlook for 2025.
The resolutions passed with a healthy majority as detailed in the table opposite.
“Votes Withheld” are not included in the calculation of the proportion of the votes “For” or “Against” a resolution.

We would like to thank our members for the overwhelming support you gave to the Board’s recommendations. This year 1,175 members voted and as a direct result of your participation, the Society has made a charitable donation of £2,350 to our selected charity, Keech Hospice.
