‘Democratic Reps File Article of Impeachment Against Trump’ ‘Republicans Initiating Millions to Spend on Investigations’ hy won’t National leaders sitting on seats of authority crease playing political games with President Donald A. trump, his administration, friends and now a family member? Investigations, whether they're carried out by Congressional members, a special independent counsel or a panel of judges, cost money! Investigations into Bill Clinton and his administration came to about $79 million. The investigation into Iran-Contra cost about $47 million. These present investigations will exceed any amount ever in U.S. history. History dictates that most government dollars spent has been under Republican administration. Because investigations don't have deadlines, the bills can intensify quickly. There's no clear way to predict how much money will be spent in advance — typically, the U.S. attorney general controls the purse strings for special counsel investigations and sets the parameters of the jurisdiction, appoints the investigator and even rejects findings Congressional investigations typically don't get special funding from Congress; instead, they are already part of the congressional budget. But they Continue on page 15 Continue story on page 5

Which Impostor Should America Believe? ‘Trump and Putin’

Bible: ‘The Anti-Christ Already Among Us’ he only Bible writer to use the word “antichrist” is the apostle John. How did he describe the antichrist? Note these words in the first letter bearing his name: “Young children, it is the last hour, and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared, from which fact we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of our sort . . . Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.”—1 John 2:18, 19, 22. What do we learn from those words? John mentioned “many antichrists,” indicating that the antichrist is, not an individual, but a collective term. People or organizations making up the antichrist spread lies, deny that Jesus is the Christ, or the Messiah, and try to distort the relationship between God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Those who make up the antichrist claim to be Christ or his representatives, but since “they went out from us,” they deviated from true Bible teachings. Furthermore, this group was present at the time when John wrote his letter, in “the last hour,” presumably the end of the time of the apostles.

He expressed his vision to the judge and was allowed to implement in 1979. The program captured the hearts of the media and nation. There were however those who desired to disrupt a vision of God!

Those young men and women having no home to become educated, returned back into the streets of Chicago causing the rate of recidivism to become rather high. Many of these young men and women felt betrayed by the city government with their chance to return back into society productively. They then caused havoc.

Harold Bailey, expressing that his educational influence has had a positive impact on their professional careers. Bailey never charged the students for their educational experience. He said it was not him, but God’s gift to them. He misses the many young men and women who filtered through the criminal justice system and mandated or volunteered into the program. ‘Racist Incidents Up Since Donald Trump's Election’

S

ince the election of President Donald A Trump, stats have proven that there is an amazing increase in racism in the United States.

Never before in the history of the United States of America, has there ever been such a broad disconnect among citizens of all nationalities. It has been broadly suggested that the sitting president who historically sets the tone for the nation, has given a subliminal message for insanity to be deemed as the norm, said the Rev. Harold E. Bailey, president of probation Challenge, and for over 40-plus years instructed youth to consider righteous thinking coming from those in leadership. He now says that “The man now sitting in authority is considered the head of this nation, and when the head is sick—the entire body ails.” In the days since the presidential election, states across the country have seen increased incidents of racist or anti-Semitic vandalism and violence, many of which have drawn directly on the rhetoric and proposals of President-elect Donald Trump. The Southern Poverty Law Center has counted more than 200 complaints of hate crimes since Election Day, according to USA Today. "Since the election, we've seen a big uptick in incidents of vandalism, threats, intimidation spurred by the rhetoric surrounding Mr. Trump's election," Richard Cohen, president of the Southern Poverty Law Center told USA Today. "The white supremacists out there are celebrating his victory and many are feeling their oats." Since Donald Trump won the Presidential election, there has been a dramatic uptick in incidents of racist and xenophobic harassment across the country. The Southern Poverty Law Center has reported that there were four hundred and thirty-seven incidents of intimidation between the election, on November 8th, and November 14th, targeting blacks and other people of color, Muslims, immigrants, the L.G.B.T. community, and women. One woman in Colorado told the S.P.L.C. that her twelve-year-old daughter was approached by a boy who said, “Now that Trump is President, I’m going to shoot you and all the blacks I can find.” At a school in Washington State, students chanted “build a wall” in a cafeteria. Such harassment occurred throughout Trump’s campaign, but now appears to have taken on a new boldness, empowered by the election of a Ku Klux Klan-endorsed candidate who has denigrated women and racial and religious minorities. “This represents a big increase in what we’ve seen since the campaign, and these incidents are far and wide: we’re seeing them in schools, we’re seeing them in places of business, we’re seeing them in museums and gas stations,” Richard Cohen, the president of the S.P.L.C., said. “White supremacists are celebrating, and it’s their time, the way they see it.” Cohen said that an online survey of teachers found that more than half had seen an increase in hostile speech during the campaign. Students of color have wondered aloud if their parents will be deported. Chicagoland man charged with hate crime after “we will kill you” phone call to Muslim civil rights advocate Marvin Meyer, of Oak Forest, admitted calling the deputy director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Chicago office on May 16, according to prosecutors. Meyer was charged with a felony count of a hate crime and a misdemeanor count of a telephone threat, Chicago police said. “Hey. Guess what? This is America calling,” Meyer’s call to Sufyan Sohel’s office voicemail began, according to prosecutors. “You are not welcome here. Take your (double expletive) back to Syria. We will kill you.” Sohel, an Americanborn attorney whose parents came to this country from India, oversees CAIR Chicago’s legal strategy. Prosecutors said he does not know Meyer. —Chicago Tribune, June 17, 2017. It appears that President Trump has a mentality to cause damage to the United States and not listening to those who surround him. Which means that those who would advise him—have done so knowing that he has turned a death-ear. Family has surrounded Trump but to no avail! Trump apparently refuses to listen, and when his administration cares less to comply with sound U.S. doctrine... why are they in the White House? Are they drawing salaries to create havoc in the country? In a honest conscious — why not resign — in disgrace!

Rather ends with a warning for those in the government, "It is like a carnival mirror is being held up to American democracy, distorting everything we thought we knew into grotesque new shapes...This is decision time, especially for our elected officials. Which side of history will you be on?" With Republicans seeking to reach a deal that would replace the Affordable Care Act, stocks fell sharply after emails disclosed by President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump, Jr., cited Russian support for his father's 2016 election campaign. The emails referred to a top Russian government prosecutor offering the Republican Trump campaign damaging information about Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump Jr.

As this expensive saga continues at an inflatable amount to tax payers … each day brings on yet another ‘reality show chapter’ in the lives of country’s leaders who pledged to be honorable and to uphold justice. These matters of honor seem to be a chapter that was torn from the United States Laws. And, of course concerns regarding health and Russia has (by purpose) has taken to the front burner … as the poor becomes poorer and the sick becomes sicker! One would have to think if the absence of sanity in Washington is a matter of pretense! How can leaders be as radical and non-caring for the nation that they ‘pledged’ their allegiance. It was suggested that the poor and middle class will financially bear the bunt of the many Investigation as it comes down the tube by way of the tax arraignments—which will also be decided by Republicans. It is to be duly noted that select Republicans have overtly displayed racism whenever speaking of health-care for less-abled people. How much have the congressional investigations into possible Russian meddling in our election and collusion between Trump & Co. and the Russians cost so far and how much are they going to cost. I doubt we will ever know – said, Roger L Simon of the PJ media.

T

wo Democratic congressmen recently introduced an article of impeachment against President Trump, accusing him of obstruction of justice over his firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

The resolution says Trump “prevented, obstructed and impeded” the investigation of former national security adviser Michael Flynn by “threatening and then terminating” Comey. Rep. Al Green (D-TX), accompanied by Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA), spoke with the media about his plans to draft articles of impeachment against President Trump. “We now begin the effort to force the House Judiciary Committee to hold hearings on obstruction of justice and Russian interference in our election,” said California Rep. Brad Sherman, who sponsored the resolution. Texas Rep. Al Green is a co-sponsor. The resolution had been expected, despite warnings from others in the Democratic Party that talk about "impeachment" is not helpful. The Republican-led House is highly unlikely to move on the measure either. White House deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders dismissed the effort during Wednesday’s press briefing. “I think that is utterly and completely ridiculous and a political game at its worst,” she said. Rep. Al. Green

Rep. Brad Sherman

The resolution itself calls for Trump to be impeached for “high crimes and misdemeanors.” It says Trump’s conduct “warrants impeachment and trial and removal from office.” “In all of this, Donald John Trump has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as president and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States,” it states. Announcing his filing, Sherman cited Donald Trump Jr.’s recently released emails pertaining to his meeting last summer with a Russian lawyer thought to have damaging information on Hillary Clinton. “Recent disclosures by Donald Trump Jr. indicate that Trump’s campaign was eager to receive assistance from Russia,” Sherman said. “It now seems likely that the president had something to hide when he tried to curtail the investigation of national security adviser Michael Flynn and the wider Russian probe.” It takes a majority of House members to pass an article of impeachment. Even if the GOP-led House were to pass impeachment articles, the Senate would then vote to acquit or convict. But Sherman, in his statement, already was looking ahead to the prospect of Vice President Pence assuming the nation's highest office. “I served with Mike Pence in Congress for twelve years and I disagree with him on just about everything,” Sherman said. “I never dreamed I would author a measure that would put him in the White House.” Some on the left have criticized those in their own party for focusing on such efforts.

fter decades of America professing to equally distribute to its citizens the product of education, you would think that positive measures would have come forth by now! There are various racial facets that hinge on the fact that non-biased understanding … has never kicked in! Could this possibly be because of racism at the helm? When the head is sick, the body ails! The United States is ailing badly! There are 5-reasons United States leaders have not learned hard-cold-facts, and perhaps they should reexamine these facts. Read with an open mind for constructive change while learning why youth are in the Compiled by Rev. Harold E. Bailey position of crime, drugs and violence in the streets … Is it really their fault or perhaps the blame should be placed on those who have been elected/selected to bring about constructive change? 1. Education Education is supposed to be the great equalizer. The world may not be fair, but it’s supposed to be a lot fairer within the four walls of a classroom. But the numbers tell a different story. African Americans are twice as likely as whites not to finish high school. If white America were a country, its high school graduation rates would rank with the likes of the U.K. and Finland; black America would be on par with Chile and Poland. Black students are suspended and expelled at roughly three times the rate of their white counterparts. Of students who receive multiple suspensions, 42 percent are black; and 34 percent of students expelled are black. And the world they are sent out to isn’t much kinder. (US News, OECD, US News) 2. Wealth What happens after high school? 21% of whites end up successfully completing a college degree, compared to only 13% of blacks. But even if they achieve that milestone, the payoff is nowhere near the same. A white family at the median sees a return of approximately $56,000 after completing a four-year degree; a black family sees a return of around $4,900. In fact, “black household wealth is just over the median wealth of an adult" in the Palestinian territories, which is not a comparison you want to see made about any group living in America in 2015. Looking at GDP per capita, blacks make $23,000 compared to the U.S. national average of $53,000. If black America really were its own country, it would be ranked 44th globally on that figure—between crisis-hit Portugal and post-Communist Lithuania. The most damning statistic? The median black household has just 6 percent of the total wealth ($7,113) that the median white household has ($111,146). (US News, Forbes, Atlantic, Politic act, Forbes, Washington Post) 3. Health No surprise, a less wealthy lifetime means a less healthy lifetime—and it starts from the beginning. Infant mortality for blacks in America is 11.5 for every 1,000 births; the figure for whites is 5.2. Black Americans' rates put them with the likes of Mexico (12.58) and Thailand (9.86), whereas white Americans are much closer to Switzerland (3.73) and Japan (2.13). That’s how the racial disparity starts, but how does it end? Black Americans can expect to live a full four years less on average than whites, who on average make it to 79. A life expectancy of 75 years places black Americans below Tunisia, Panama, Costa Rica and Cuba. (US News, Economist) 4. Incarceration From bad to worse: 1 in 3 black males will go to prison at some point in their life if current trends continue, compared to 1 in 17 white males. Women fare better, but not much—black women are incarcerated at (only) twice the rate that white women are across the country. Overall, blacks only make up some 14 percent of the national population, but are 38 percent of the total prison population. If black America were its own country, it would rank No. 3 on the world list of absolute prison incarceration, ahead of Russia, Brazil, India and Thailand. And once in prison, it gets worse; 60 percent of all prisoners sent to solitary confinement are black. (Huffington Post, US Department of Justice, Salon, International Center for Prison Studies, Salon) 5. Violence

A

merica’s homicide rate is a national tragedy—but it’s much worse if you’re black. White America’s rate of 2.5 deaths per 100,000 is just somewhat higher than Finland (2.0), Belgium (1.7) and Greece (1.7). But at 19.4 deaths per 100,000 people, black America’s homicide rate puts it above Burma (15.2) and just below Nigeria (20.0). But it’s fatal police shootings where the figures become truly tragic. If you are a young black male in America today, you are 21 times more likely to be shot and killed by a police officer than if you are a young white male. If you’re black, you’re also more than twice as likely to be shot and killed by a police officer while unarmed. Over the past year, 41 percent of all unarmed people killed by police were black.

°America is better than this. It's about time we show it° 19

‘Black teenager says California police wrongly roughed her up’ Bakersfield California: A black woman contends she was confronted by police at gunpoint, punched in the mouth and bitten by a police dog after she was mistaken for a much larger bald man suspected of threatening people with a machete. Tatyana Hargrove's account is contained in a video posted on Facebook Monday by the Bakersfield chapter of the NAACP, which contends that race played a role in the June 18 incident. As of Tuesday, the video (http:// bit.ly/2t1Zzwx) had received nearly 3 million views. The Police Department determined the use of force was appropriate, Sgt. Ryan Kroeker told the Bakersfield Californian (http://bit.ly/2ufgL1P). Hargrove, 19, is shown with crutches in the video, and there are close-ups of scratches, bites, bruises and scrapes on her face and body.

Tatyana Hargroves

Hargrove said she had ridden her bicycle to a local store to buy a Father's Day gift. But it was closed and she decided to return home, she said. Temperatures in the Central Valley city had hit around 102 degrees, and Hargrove, who had three bottles of water in a backpack, stopped to take a drink. "And then I turned around and there were three cop cars and one of the officers already had a gun drawn at me," she said. The confrontation escalated after an officer demanded to search her backpack and she asked if he had a warrant. Hargrove contends that police grabbed her by the wrist and neck, punched her and threw her to the ground, where she was bitten in the leg by a police dog. One officer put his knee in her back and another knee on her head, she said. "I told him 'I can't breathe, I can't breathe' and then I started yelling out "somebody help, somebody help me, they're gonna kill me,' ' she said. Eventually, she was arrested on suspicion of resisting or delaying an officer and aggravated assault on an officer. Police said they mistook her for a man who reportedly had threatened people with a machete at a nearby store. The suspect was described as a 25to 30-year-old bald man standing about 5-foot-10 and weighing about 170 pounds. Hargrove is 5-foot-2 and weighs 115 pounds, the Bakersfield California reported.

Their were 4-candidates for baptism who rejoiced greatly as to the spiritual experience. In attendance were observers who prayed, ministers who spoke and worshiped in songs while others praised through the languages of Amen. A gifted young man recited James Weldon Johnson’s ‘The Creation’ which recently won him first place in the PUSH Oratorical Completion. Two brothers worshiped in songs as one played the string instrument. The service was called The Great Commission. The baptism was a first for the judge who was applauded for doing so. ormer football player and actor O. J. Simpson was granted freedom by the Nevada Board of Parole.

"The Juice," who is serving time for his part in a 2007 kidnapping and robbery in Las Vegas, faced the parole board during his hearing at 1 p.m. EST. Simpson, 70, and several others entered a hotel O. J. Simpson room and took hundreds of pieces of sports memorabilia from two men. He was convicted in 2008 on 12 counts, including burglary with the use of a deadly weapon, kidnapping and assault. Simpson was sentenced to a min-

imum of nine years and maximum of 33. Simpson, who was a long-time role model for youth has apparently fallen from his stardom and into hands of the criminal justice system. Simpson required four votes to set him free—he received the 4votes needed to grant parole. Simpson, now has to clear where he will live in Los Angles with family or elsewhere. In the press gathering the question was asked of authority if Simpson will have special protection considering the enemies made over the murder of his wife. Response was that the matter would be taken into consideration. The Public is still divided racially regarding O. J. Simpson first trial.

rump at the G-20 dinner in which he sat next to Japan's First Lady Akie Abe, Trump said, "she's a terrific woman, but doesn't speak English." Asked to clarify if that meant she spoke "nothing, like zero," Trump said, "like, not 'hello." The hour and 45-minute meal was difficult for Trump, but he said there was one Japanese interpreter to help and he called Akie Abe a "lovely woman." There is at least one video online that would suggest Akie Abe can Lady Akie Abe speak very good English. In a 2014 speech for the Ford Foundation, Akie Abe talks for about 15 minutes in English, seeming to read from prepared remarks.

It appears that every step President Trump takes—serves as an embarrassment to the U. S. in numerous ways. And, without question it indicates that he does little homework... which is important in International circles. Critics around the world are outright laughing at Trump and the United States for ever allowing such an act of embarrassment to ever occur. Akie Abe sat next to him at the dinner table, and one can understand why the first lady would not have conversation with Trump. The first Lady, being gracious lady was however busy listening to his private conversations! President Donald Trump claimed in a news interview with the New York Times that the first lady of Japan doesn't speak English. Sad!

That didn’t set well with Rev. Jackson and so he took his staff including Omar Shareef, president and founder of African American Contractors Association, Rev. Janette Wilson, senior advisor to Rev. Jackson, and a dozen men and women and picketed outside of the construction site. Carrying signs that read, “Black Workers Matter,” and “Share the Work,” Rev. Jackson marched outside of the construction site calling for fairness and equity. The scene was in stark contrast to similar sites downtown where traffic is often rerouted due to cranes and other construction equipment. Follow your ears and you’ll soon run into high-rises being built all over the place. Many call it economic violence where up North unemployment is much lower than on the South and West Sides of Chicago where the bulk of gun violence is occurring. In fact, Cook County Comm. Richard Boykin explains the disparity well in his statement about black unemployment. “The lack of employment prospects in the black community is harmful to everyone in Illinois because it drives violence, increases reliance on public resources and creates a general sense of hopelessness,” said Boykin.

Rev. Jesse L. Jackson and workers

“Illinois leads the nation in the number of jobless black residents. It has done so for the last six quarters. States like Mississippi that have a greater percentage of black residents than Illinois have significantly better unemployment numbers. “Forty four percent of black men aged 20-24 are out of work, according to the Great Cities Institute. Unemployment in West Garfield Park is 25 percent, rivaling the worst unemployment rates in the Great Depression,” said Comm. Boykin. “It is our obligation as elected officials to foster an environment where all people have equal opportunity to jobs. For that reason, I have introduced a resolution to the County Board calling for hearings to explore this issue and return with policy recommendations. “When all residents are gainfully employed, it goes without saying that life will improve for all of us,” concluded Boykin. And, that was Rev. Jackson’s point in picketing under a blazing sun demanding the hiring of blacks to help build White Castle. It wasn’t much different than in the 1960’s when Rev. Jackson protested outside of the Red Rooster stores that were accused of selling bad meat and expired food in the black community. He and a coalition of civil rights groups won that battle despite facing threats and possible violence then went on to take on the building trades fight that is so similar today.

With camera’s zooming in on Tim Voss, the superintendent of the construction site and son of Frank Voss, president of Princeton Builders, Inc., the prime contractor for the project, talked to Rev. Jackson who demanded he shut down the site until they agree to hire blacks. Tim Voss called his dad who drove from Palatine, Illinois to meet with Jackson. After lengthy talks at the site, Frank Voss agreed to hire two black carpenters. Jackson talked via phone to Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle Management Co. Recently, Frank Voss, Darrin Cotton, district supervisor of White Castle, who is black, and supporting staff met with Rainbow PUSH officials. Tuesday, August 1st, Richardson is meeting with Rev. Jackson, but he has already promised major hiring changes. Richardson, who like Cotton, who began working at White Castle at the age of 16 and now oversees 10 restaurants, said he is proud of his hiring record especially since the majority of his employees are black. But, Jackson wants Richardson to diversify his construction site as well. Richardson has promised to do just that and in a system wide policy where he will hire African Americans to help build his restaurants. Currently, he has 380 White Castle restaurants. He is hiring 60 workers for the Cermack and Wabash site. Even before the final meeting, Rev. Jackson has called the protest a victory for African Americans who every day are forced to watch people working in their community who don’t look like them. That, Rev. Jackson, said, is unacceptable. Rev. Jackson is also training people to become flaggers who make more than $40 an hour, and is preparing to picket restaurants who won’t hire African American waiters. The fight for equality and economic justice continues more than 50years after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. appointed Rev. Jackson to head Operation Breadbasket.

Former President Barack and Michelle Obama

I

n comparison to what’s presently taking place in the United States White House, many citizens are now saying that they didn’t really appreciate what they had in former President Barack Obama and wife Michelle!

Much of what’s been ignorantly heard from the mouth of the present Commander-and-Chief Donald Trump, are negative comments and innuendoes regarding the former President Obama and his past administration. And of course documented proof dispelled all negative comments. President Obama has yet to respond to comments stated which are beneath the dignity of the former White House seat. We hasten to point to matters-of-facts, that the U. S. was in dire straits before Obama was seated and need-less to say he bought the country from under into an era of hope. The Obama administration represented these United States with dignity. There were no scandals or rumors of misbehaviors leaked from within the nations White House, which was occupied by Afri‘The President Barack and Michelle Obama Family’ can Americans...who’s fore-parents built with their sweat and tears... and with little or no compensation. The then first family were not liken unto the present occupants who now fly around the country at tax payers expense creating revenue only for themselves. Thanks to Mr. Barack Obama and his wife Michelle... and let’s not forget about the two beautiful children Malia Ann and Sasha, for being wonderful examples to our nations youth.

ailey recently sent out the clarion call to youth saying that they should be encouraged because he believes there will be a “ Shift in the political winds on most fronts, which will once again present education and fair job opportunities.” Bailey said, “The people parish for the lack of knowledge and God know that. And being a present help in the time of trouble, God will provide the necessary avenue of escape—which is the vehicle of education.”
