Principal’s Welcome
At Stansted Airport College our trainees are at the heart of everything we do. Our ambition is that they achieve the very best and leave us happy and prepared for the next stage of their lives. The trainees receiving awards this evening are shining examples of what we strive for with all of our learners. Their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm are inspirational and we are extremely proud to honour their achievements this evening. The trainee celebration awards recognise the outstanding achievement made by trainees this year. They celebrate a wide range of achievements from academic success to sheer resilience and determination. We’ve had many great and successful trainees, however, the winners of tonight’s awards have been identified from the many nominations received from teaching staff as having gone above and beyond during their studies this year.
We have a special award this evening - the Enrichment Award - in memory of trainee Francisc Dragomir, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
