Principal’s Welcome

At Harlow College our students are at the heart of everything we do. Our ambition is that they achieve the very best and leave us happy and prepared for the next stage of their lives. The students receiving awards this evening are shining examples of what we strive for with all of our learners. Their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm are inspirational and we are extremely proud to honour their achievements this evening. I hope you enjoy sharing this celebration with us and please do stay and relax for the after show drinks.

The student celebration awards recognise the outstanding achievement made by students this year. They celebrate a wide range of achievements from academic success to sheer determination and effort. We’ve had many great and successful students, however, the winners of tonight’s awards have been identified from the many nominations received from teaching staff as having gone above and beyond during their studies this year. The Governors’ Award has been dedicated in memory of the College’s Chair of Governors, Liz Laycock, who sadly passed away last November.
Thank you
Thank you to our Performing Arts students for performing in tonight’s awards evening and Rob, Dylan and Eve, our amazing technicians!
Harlow College would like to thank everybody who has taken part in this evening’s event. We are particularly grateful to our fantastic students who have worked behind the scenes and our sponsors for their generosity. Last, but by no means least, our wonderful award winners!
