2022 Fund-A-Grant

THE TULIP KNOLL ENDOWMENT A cornerstone of Harbor Country Day School’s historic $10 million capital campaign is funding the Tulip Knoll Endowment. Comprised of three elements (Faculty, Tuition Assistance and General Endowment) and constituting 65 percent of our campaign goals, a strong endowment will form the solid fiscal foundation that enables us to accomplish these goals, while at the same time ensuring the continued operation of the school. As with all great nonprofit institutions, the role an endowment can play in a healthy future for Harbor cannot be overstated.

THE FACULTY ENDOWMENT The Faculty Endowment is one element that Mr. Cissel is particularly passionate about and is, therefore, this year’s Fund-A-Grant. Gifts made to the Faculty Endowment will enable Harbor to attract and retain the most exceptional, inspired teachers—those who embody the school’s mission to "cherish childhood, cultivate wonder and inspire confident learners and leaders." This fund will support faculty salaries and benefits, as well as provide enrichment opportunities that enable faculty members to continually hone their teaching skills and embrace the most innovative and progressive teaching methods and tools. The Faculty Endowment also provides teachers with the resources they need to continue to provide students with an engaging, challenging, 21st century education.
