VEGGIE UDON NOODLE BOWL

PROVISIONS

2 Tbsp Sliced Red Onion

3 Garlic Cloves Sliced

1 tbsp fresh ginger

3 Tbsp Infused Sesame Oil

1 Tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tbsp a Fish Sauce

1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar

1 tsp fresh lime juice

2 tbsp Chopped cilantro

1tbsp sesame seeds Fresh Udon Noodles (As Desired)

Red chili flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2- 5 oz Fresh Ahi Tuna Filet (optional)

1 tbsp vegetable Oil for searing

INSTRUNCTIONS

In a medium pot bring two cups of (salted) water to a boil

Add 1 cup barley

Reduce to a Fill a medium-size saucepan with salted water over medium-high heat

Once water comes to a boil add Udon noodles.

Cook as instructed typically 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, slice the onion, garlic, ginger, and cilantro.

Make the dressing by mixing the infused sesame oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, vinegar, and lime juice.

Run noodles under cold water and drain to remove all excess water once done.

Toss noodles with dressing Place noodles in a medium-size serving bowl topped with sliced herbs and crisp vegetables.

Sprinkle with red pepper flakes to finish.

IF USING TUNA

Season Fresh tuna with salt and pepper to taste.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and set aside.

Over medium-high heat boil water in a saucepot.

In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Once oil begins to smoke, gently add tuna, sear on both sides for 3 minutes.

Remove from heat and rest.

Lastly top bowl with sliced Tuna.
