THE BAY

Glebe Island holds a rich industrial history across four connected bays. The proposal reimagines this harbourside precinct as a compact, walkable and cycleable city, prioritising green space over traffic infrastructure and weaving remnant heritage into new public life.

Water treatment sits at the heart of the scheme. A connected blue-green infrastructure network, raingardens, bioswales, green roofs and a visible recycled-water pipeline, turns the management of stormwater into a public, educational landscape.
