season,Iwanttogiveourteamahugeshoutoutfortheamazing RecreationServicesfacilitatedover100campsessionsengaging ntsinfunanddynamicactivities.TheHanoverTomatoFestivalwas nOurteamworkedhardtogettheparkreadyandensured ustimeTheeventdrewmorethan13,000attendeesandwecould nothavepulleditoffwithoutthehelpofourvendors,communityorganizations,volunteers, farmers,andpublicsafetypartnersWecontinuedourpartnershipwiththeTownofAshland’s ParksandRecreationDepartmentthissummer,offeringavarietyofcollaborativeprograms includingPaintbythePond,YoungAnglerAdventure,PreschoolPlayCafe,andtheSummer SplashParty.Weareexcitedtosharethatevenmorecollaborativeprogramming opportunitiesareonthehorizon.

OurParkServicesteamworkedtirelesslythroughthesummerheatandhumidity,ensuring thatallofourparks,schools,libraries,andgovernmentfacilitieslookedtheirbestWe managedawiderangeofcapitalprojectsincludinglightingthePoleGreenpickleballcourts, pavingparkinglotsatmultiplelocations,renovatingtwoplaygrounds,andcarryingout numerousothersmallerprojectsIsitjustus,ordiditfeellikethegrassgrewafootadayall summerlong!
