YoCo Fiber Broadband Task Force: YoCo Fiber Demand Survey is Live! The York County Commissioners, York County Economic Alliance, and YoCo Fiber Broadband Task Force are working towards the goal of countywide broadband access. We are gathering data on your current internet access (or lack of access), speeds, and costs to help advance this initiative, secure grants, and ultimately bring better internet to your home or business. Chamber President, Gary Laird is part of the YoCo Fiber Broadband Task Force that was created in February 2021. Laird says “establishing a broadband network for York County is important for continued economic growth. This network will benefit businesses, school districts, and consumers.” You can view the entire assessment report online at www.YoCoFiber.com. By investing in broadband and supporting public private partnerships to connect internet to homes and

businesses, we can ensure York County is an attractive place to live and a competitive place to do business. We ask you to please take the time to complete this survey to help provide beneficial information for the Broadband Task Force. Visit www.YoCoFiber.com to complete the survey or would like to review additional information. If you have questions or concerns, please contact YoCoFiber@yceapa. org. Countywide broadband access is a complex and expensive undertaking, and we appreciate your support and enthusiasm as we work towards advancing the YoCo Fiber initiative!

I know this team will continue to amazing things and I can’t wait to celebrate everything that’s to come for them. Thank you to the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce for helping shape me into the professional that I am today, I appreciate this experience more than I could put into words”, says Briggs. Chamber President Gary Laird says, "we appreciate Haley’s service to the Hanover Chamber, and we wish her the very best as she takes the next step in her career journey". Please join us in wishing Haley good luck with her new position. The Chamber has offered the Membership & Events position to a new candidate who will be joining us in July.
