Chamber Introduces Elizabeth Csuri as Administrative Coordinator The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hire of Elizabeth Csuri as Adminstrative Coordinator. Csuri started her role in late December and has since settled into her duties including: database management, front office upkeep, and assisting Chamber President, Gary Laird. Before joining the team at the Chamber, Csuri worked for Lincoln Intermediate Unit in autistic support as well as Hoffman Homes for Youth. She has a degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University, and in her free time, she loves hiking and spending time with her dog. Chamber President Gary Laird is excited about Csuri's success on the job so far, stating "We are very pleased to have Elizabeth as part of the Chamber team. Her well-rounded background will have a significant impact on her success in a support role for the chamber staff and membership." 2020 Discover Hanover Magazine Now Available at the Chamber Thanks to a grant from Explore York, York County’s Official Tourist Promotion Agency, we're happy to announce that our 2020 issue will be distributed January through December, making this our first full year of distribution. To commemorate this collaboration, we put together a feature article with our county's new "have it made here" brand in mind, "Making History." The 2020 cover photo was taken by one of our former interns and Hanover High School graduate, Sierra Stevens. Notice the architecture; isn't it beautiful? Our downtown houses many eyecatching buildings, several of which are currently undergoing revitalization. Learn more about these projects to preserve history in our downtown highlight article, "Healing the Heart of Hanover." As we begin the new year, the chamber will continue to find ways to develop talent for member employers. With full employment, it is a challenge to find employees with base skills, much less specific skills that are required for those in the manufacturing and health care industries. The chamber plans to focus its efforts in high-demand occupations by partnering with businesses and educators to grow our local talent pipeline. The Hanover Area Apprenticeship Program will continue to grow throughout 2020, and a new healthcare track is being developed to support the needs of local healthcare providers. The chamber's model is unique in that it is based on employer-driven collaboratives that determine how the talent development models are created and maintained. Delone Catholic Announces 2020 Hall of Honor Induction Class
Delone Catholic High School recently announced the selection of its Hall of Honor Class of 2020. This class, comprising five members, brings the total number of inductees to 25 in five induction classes. The Hall of Honor recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the school through consistent contribution of time, effort and/or financial resources or who have improved the school and its reputation through significant professional or community achievements. The 2020 inductees are Charles E. Glessner, James L. Groft, Joseph P. McCullough, Henry C. Noel, and Sister Jane O. Small. As of January 2, 2020, Hanover Door is back in Hanover! Previously located at a shared facility with Susquehanna Door Service in New Oxford, the new location is at 319-A Maple Avenue in Hanover. This move comes after Rodney & Kela Trish acquired the company from previous owners, Randy & Kathie Hilton, on July 1, 2018. Rodney was the Operations Manager for Hanover Door prior to purchasing the company. Hanover Door welcomes members of the chamber to drop in for a visit at their new location.
The Hall of Honor Class of 2020 will be inducted on Friday, February 7. The event will begin with a school-wide Mass at 1:30 p.m. An informal reception will be held for inductees and anyone interested in offering well-wishes in the Delone Catholic library following the Mass. A dinner and induction ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Mass and reception are free of charge and open to all. Tickets for the dinner are $35 and on sale until February 1. Greenholt attended West Virginia University and holds a bachelor’s in marketing. Most recently, he was an Account Executive for Ameritel Corporation serving the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. area. Cook brings over 28 years of sales management experience to Doceo.
Bringing 12 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, and project management, White will be managing the firm’s marketing strategy and execution. Her role will keep the firm moving forward as it continues to grow its practice, expand its digital presence, and help clients and the community have the opportunity for a better tomorrow. REINDOLLAR CELEBRATES 30 YEARS AT FURS BY SUSAN Carol Reindollar recently celebrated 30 years of employment at Furs by Susan. Reindollar started her work at Furs by Susan in 1989 and has since helped countless ladies stay in style. Her customer service, knowledge of furs and fabrics, and skill in repairing and altering outerwear makes her the preeminent sales lady at Furs by Susan.
Desmond is a Lancaster native, a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and is a member of the firm’s Business, Municipal, and Finance & Creditors' Rights practice groups. Based out of the firm’s Lancaster office since his hire in 2011, he is a graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law and Millersville University. Since Tomevi joined the firm in 2012, he’s been a member of the Litigation Practice Group, working in commercial, real estate, fiduciary and banking litigation. Tomevi, based out of the firm’s York office, has been named a “Rising Star” in the Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer” list for four consecutive years. He is a graduate of Eastern University (summa cum laude) and earned his law degree at the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law (with honors).
