Fo y e r J e t t e i s a n o p e n s i t e c o n s i s t i n g o f m u l t i p l e r e s i d e n t i a l b l o c k s w i t h n o c o h e r e n c e b e t w e e n t h e m a n d a d e g e n e ra t e d o p e n g r e e n s p a c e i n w h i c h c a r s p l a y a dominant role. While there is a rich diversit y among the residents the place i t s e l f i s v e r y m o n o f u n c t i o n a l a n d n o t v i v i d . B y c r e a t i n g a n e w c e n t ra l s p a c e t h e different blocks get connected, thus stimulating the residents to come together i n a v a r i a t y o f wa y s : w o r k i n g t o g e t h e r, t a k i n g a b r e a k , m e e t i n g f o r a d r i n k , wa l k i n g , r e a d i n g , p l a y i n g , . . . .

T h e c e n t ra l s p a c e h a s a n i n t e n s e r e l a t i o n w i t h e a c h o f t h e s u r r o u n d i n g b u i l d i n g s .

I t a c t i v a t e s t h e p l i n t h b y o f f e r i n g n e w, m u l t i p l e f u n c t i o n s b a s e d o n t h e n e e d s o f the residents. The inner facade follows the existing tree line and becomes an a m o r p h o u s s h a p e e m b ra c i n g t h e c e n t ra l , g r e e n o a s i s . T h i s w i l l b r i n g r e s t a n d h a r m o n y t o t h e s i t e a n d c r e a t e s a c o m m o n p l a c e f o r t h e c o m m u n i t y.
